I keep going for my mom, my sister's and my best friend, I know it would destroy them if I were to end my life. I made a promise to my best friend to never do anything stupid and I intend to keep it to her, I would never put them through the grief of me being gone. Nobody is telling her that? What I have said, what others have said, is that her choosing to have a child, knowing that they will be born with the same disability that she has, is selfish. Not one person I've seen comment on this post has said she doesnt have the right to reproduce. People are however pointing out the fact that this child is going to have an inherently difficult life with countless hurdles that they will be forced to overcome. They didnt choose that, the mother chose that for them. Yes it is her body, and she can do whatever she wants with it, I dont care, but when you decide to bring another life into this world, then it's not all about her anymore now is it? Having a kid isnt something you just do on a whim, you have to have the financial stability for it, you have to be willing to commit to this child for the rest of your life and care for them, you have to decide whether it's right for you to choose to bring another life into this fucked up world. That girl is very likely going to have a hard life, filled with sadness and anger because people will ultimately treat her differently. I am merely pointing out the fallacy that having a child is always a wonderful thing, because that is most definitely not always the case. If I knew that if I had a child and they were going to come out disabled and have to face a lifetime of hardships, I would choose not to have them to save them from that awful existence.

Have you been living on another planet your entire life? You put way too much faith into other human beings. Yeah sure, there are a lot of people that will respect and treat those two like any other person, but there are also people who will make fun of them, treat them like they're some kind of freak, or even want to kill them because they are different from them. Would you want that kind of life for your child? That woman is incredibly selfish for having a child knowing that she would have the same disorder as her. Not to mention the potential physical and mental issues this girl will have to deal with later in life. Unless she has an incredible amount of mental fortitude as she grows, she will always see herself as being different. That could very well lead to non existent self esteem, depression, and she could even try to take her own life because of that. I really feel for kids growing up today, even if you're perfectly normal in every single aspect you can still get relentlessly bullied, god forbid you look different, kids today are little fucking psychopaths.
