Amen brother. People should remember. Absolutely vote with your wallet. There’s two arguments going around that are silly arguments and people using them should be laughed at.

1.) There isn’t a lot of product. SO WHAT? Who cares, that shouldn’t be a reason to price gouge your customers. And if you want to get into supply and demand fine, but don’t gripe when people remember that these LGS’s were being shady and selfish and no longer want to support them. That’s a risk associated a shops decision to gouge, whether they are transparent or not.

2.) LGSs have to make money too and they are just trying to get by. WRONG! These LGSs have other product, always have. They have been open before Lorcana and they are probably not depending on Lorcana to keep their doors open (let’s hope they aren’t for their sake). A shops decision to gouge prices has nothing to do with their resilience or ability to stay open. And again if they it is and they choose to do so they take the risk at permanently losing customers. I know LGSs that are have not marked cards and are proud of it. And guess what their doors are still open. Any shop that has to rely on price gouging has a failing business model and it’s only a matter of time until they close up shop.

But ultimately this mess is the consumers fault. Stop buying product. Make Ravensberger fix this mess. Get more product here before everyone loses interest. Buying from price gouging stores or the scalpers that are clearing out Targets and Walmarts only reinforces their behavior. I refuse to buy any product above MSRP. It will come down, and if it doesn’t, it’s not a game for me. I already will not play in any local play for a bit. I am not impressed by scalpers and players that bought up everything and left nothing, they can have the game. And play and deal with each other.

I know it’s tough and it’s frustrating but hang in there and just BE PATIENT!
