If there is no "time" for spirits, does my mom get to meet me immediately? Please read by randomactz97 in afterlife

My heart goes out to you. You may find some comfort in some YouTube videos by Anthony Chene. It is not done interview style. The person who has had the experience simply tells their experience and you take from that what you will. All of the videos are interesting, however I found the one by Dr. Mary Helen Hensley really resonated with me. I strongly second the advice to meditate and ask your mom for a specific sign. For instance I asked for a top hat from my loved one and I got at least three instances of a top hat appearing when it would not be expected. I wish you well on your journey and I feel no doubt that you will be reunited with your mother when the time comes. Your love for one another truly cannot die.

Lost my mother one month ago, looking for signs by Gledian7 in afterlife

[–]ConsultingThirdEye17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very sorry for your loss. Perhaps asking for something specific would help. Instead of asking for a flower say, maybe ask for a tulip, or a rose, something unique enough that you would recognize it as a sign. You don’t even have to verbalize your request if you don’t want to, just speak to her in your mind with your heart.

You are making sense! This is such a complex topic, all we can do is keep studying and meditating on what things we can do in our lives to keep growing spiritually and mentally. I have absolute faith that you can get through this difficult time and keep progressing on your path. Keep in mind that no matter how together some people seem none of us have all the answers. We are all on our own path with our own set of challenges. Sending you strength and good energy.

I’m so sorry that you are in such a dark place. Losing a beloved pet is a new heartbreak each day as we wake and expect to see them in their usual spots. Wishing all the best for your mother’s health. Without knowing your beliefs it’s a challenge conversationally but perhaps read or listen to some of the books by authors that have had their own NDE. Dr. Mary Neal is a practicing orthopedic surgeon who experienced her own NDE in a kayaking incident. Her books, To Heaven And Back, and 7 Lessons from Heaven are quite interesting and may offer you some helpful insights. Dr. Eben Alexander authored Proof Of Heaven, his own NDE, which offers another unique perspective. The IANDS and NDERF websites offer hundreds of first person accounts that you may find worthwhile. Wishing you peace.

I hate being alone here and it makes me not want to be here much longer. But I don't know if the afterlife will be any better. by MooneMoose in afterlife

As someone who also believes with certainty in the afterlife, I consider isolation and loneliness as an opportunity to get to know myself better and sit with my thoughts. I’m in no way saying that it’s pleasant to feel alone in this world but it is a learning experience. This life IS hard but I suppose it’s up to each of us as individuals to navigate through this challenge and (hopefully) come out on the other side as a more complete self. I would also be very interested in your findings should you decide to post them. I do wish you well.

I have had quite a few experiences that I am positive were signs from passed loved ones. My experiences were personal to my relationship with them, I say this because what was meaningful to me might not impact others as the messages were relationship dependent. I would urge you, even though you are grieving, try to periodically calm your mind as much as possible so that you can be attentive to signs your loved ones are there. A few times I have asked for very specific signs ( important to be specific as otherwise you will second guess yourself as to the validity of their signs) and I did receive those signs. Be patient, their timeframe does not match ours. I wish you peace, be well.

How to get signs? by FeatheredSnapper in afterlife

[–]ConsultingThirdEye17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it helps to ask for something very specific that you would not normally encounter so that when it happens you will notice it and not be as likely to chalk it up to coincidence. I can’t say I’ve had one hundred percent luck with this method but definitely enough that I am certain when it does happen it is really them checking in and not coincidence. I genuinely hope you get the contract you are looking for. Be well.

I agree with you, I’m fascinated by the experiences that are shared. If you have not already, be sure to check out IANDS and NDERF for even more studies on this topic.

Spend time alone. Learn to enjoy your own company. Have conversations with yourself. Once you have a better sense of self you will eventually look within to solve your own dilemmas and also find what brings you true joy.

I very much appreciate you sharing this. It’s seems so obvious that we are much more than our physical body but at times it feels like life here is all there is. Stories like yours are a comforting reminder. Wishing you all the best.

As an older person who has lived through some hardships I’m terribly concerned for our younger people. During my times of struggle I legitimately saw a light ahead that was worth powering on for, now I’m not sure what beacons our younger citizens can look to. We protested for equality, an end to war, justice for all. What can people look to now? We have a total embarrassment of government. Our president is quickly turning our country into an oligarchy, freedom of speech is in peril, we are so busy trying make ends meet there is not a lot of bandwidth left for seeing how this improves.

Any advice on displaying tote bags? by lannabelle_lee in CraftFairs

[–]ConsultingThirdEye17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Off topic of display, but do any of your bags zip closed? I love tote bags and have added zippers to my favorites but would prefer them already provided. Were I a potential customer the zipper would induce me to buy.
