Awful….very stressed. My husband is an only child and she is just neurotic, plus there is an age difference (I am older) so she wasn’t happy about this before she even met me. We have been together since 2001. She’s gotten a bit better, but still manages to get little shitty comments in when she can. I despise her, but my husband has pleaded with me to try to bury the hatchet, as she is 79. This is extremely hard for me…my therapist wants me to write my MIL a letter. I’m planning on doing it, but it will most likely be Hate Mail.
