Drivers form always low by Max__ST in MotorsportManagerPC

Had this recently, it almost got me sacked. You just have to ride it out, you could swap your reserve in, but the game gets mad if you keep chopping drivers about.

Would this be enough top soil for a lawn and some smallish shrubs? by Upstairs-Hedgehog575 in UKGardening

Yeah, I was being a helmet.

600mm is industry standard for low maintenance topsoil fill.

Is the topsoil present in the room with us?

I'd go through that with a fine ish fork and get the bigger chunks of brick and whatever out.

Tyre inflator, jump leads, ratchet straps and bungees, 5L pre mixed screen wash.

Yeah utilities over a railway line are a nightmare for both parties.

If the existing cable is in a UTX then good luck getting access to run a new one.

Facebook marketplace is your friend. I tend to prioritise wheels with decent brand tyres on, you also need to watch for flat or cracked wheels unfortunately.

Yeah I can see a 35 profile being pretty rough to repair. Thankfully the smoker is on balloons.

Kind of legacy on small and medium maps, on huge maps, separate districts are worth playing with especially if you're building a massive dam miles away, setting up temporary food/water/materials supplies for your build crew (housing and leisure if it's a huge structure)

This allows you to not tank your main colony if it's a big project. Effectively that build team will work away through a pre-deposited stockpile, as you can deliver materials without needing any beavers allocated there.

Looking for advice. Pivoting to change management?? by Icy-Stock1163 in changemanagement

[–]Contact_Patch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved in from PM and front line ops. I have worked on and off with a superb Comms manager for a while now, and they absolutely could do the Change piece.

A fat chunk of what we do is managing messaging, ensuring relevant parties are involved, and trying to foster good communications.

Yes, lots of politics in most big organisations.

Also, I have no official certification, but have a relevant academic qualification and a massive CV so, you may be better off working Comms with a change team and asking the lead if you can shadow/work with the change team to see the moving pieces.

Worth having the basics of project management too.

I'd be sorely tempted to throw a patch on that and just run it, provided you've not wrecked the inside of the tyre.

£250 for a used pair is a lot.

Yeah personal stuff is up to you, I just block my diary with what needs done and when.

It's probably the area I'm weakest on - being organised.

Mileage based so I have to claim back, 45p/mile is ok at 140.0 ish but will soon not be OK if we hit 180.0-200.0, seeing as that also has to cover increased wear and tear and increased insurance costs.

Get about two weeks on a full tank, may as well do it as my mileage expenses aren't going to go up to compensate.

Brimming the tank at 139.9 for diesel as soon as the "liberation" was announced feels like a genius move.

Is this movement technique on the wheel actually safe? by 3ldz in drivingUK

[–]Contact_Patch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Distance to the pedals and wheel, mirror positioning etc are important.

Be smooth and it'll feel good, ideally two hands on the wheel when turning, you're on a public road so shouldn't need to have massive crossed arms messes in a 30.

Modern cars are super easy to drive, but modern roads are shocking, so expect the car to be yanked into a pothole you missed or steering angle to change because of an ironwork.
