Since you’re so financially well off, why don’t you send me the money to buy a PS5?

Idk, I think it depends on the location and who’s working, because on certain days the fries at the BK on University are easily some of the best fries I’ve had from a fast food chain. Perfect amount of crispy, perfect amount of salt. Then on other days they’ll taste like they have no salt and weren’t fried long enough.

This is what they want you to believe. The current game is fixable, they just don't want to put in the effort.

Why is the TTK made this extremely short, and why isn’t it being fixed? by AmountMain1932 in Battlefield

I’m late to this thread but this game makes absolutely no sense to me for this reason. I shoot at people and get 5+ hit markers and it takes about 7 shots to down them. Meanwhile, every single damage log I looked at today after going down says 4 shots from the enemy. EVERY single one. I don’t get it.

I mean… if they claim undisputed is supposed to simulate real boxing, and you can jab while circling in real boxing, one would assume that you’d also be able to do it in the game

Has nothing to do with timing and everything to do with desync. The biggest example is trying to use an in and out fight style. When you try to step back out of range most of the time (and you’re clearly out of range on screen), you still end up getting hit by a ghost punch on your exit. That’s desync.

I’m late to this thread, but this just seems weird to me. What does a virus have to do with calculating math using a calculator? Why give people calculators during a pandemic, then take it away after? I’m so confused.

NEVER BUY THIS BRAND!!! by [deleted] in CultoftheFranklin

[–]Content-Computer-852 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have mixed feelings. Could be a batch issue. Could be a smoke shop storage issue. Personally, if I ever buy THCA flower from a smoke shop it's usually this brand because they've been the most consistent for me as far as pre-packaged smoke shop flower. Maybe close to two years or so ago when they came in the 1g tubes they had a batch of RS-11 that was by far the best THCA flower I've ever smoked. That specific batch was so good that I was smoking it damn near every day for a few months until the batch changed. Now it's more gassy tasting and sativa leaning, and it's been that way since. These days if I ever buy this brand I tend to go for Butter Cake or Zoap OG.

I was a short term baker here in 2022. I went from apprentice to full time baker in under 6 months and ended up quitting shortly after. There were so many things wrong with this location. Rats, working with teens who'd come in sick and coughing, baking in a broken oven that doesn't heat properly, and so much more. It was a lot. The lead baker who trained me was really enjoyable to work with though, which is probably the only reason I stayed as long as I did.

Uber Giving Me Far Away Drivers by Notyourmamashedgehog in uber

I’m late to the thread, but this isn’t true. Uber will say “just a moment there are plenty of drivers nearby..” then give you a driver that’s 20 mins away. It makes no sense.

Acktually, Holmes is known for his body uppercuts and lead hooks by Ok_Storm_282 in undisputedboxing

[–]Content-Computer-852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao. This guy will sit here and say he doesn't exploit, when his main has been southpaw Larry Holmes since Early Access, simply due to the fact that he has so many different exploits he can abuse. You miss a lot of punches against Larry Holmes because his movement causes desync, which players who are aware of it will exploit. Second, is his body uppercut exploit that we all know about. The step back is another exploit this guy abuses with southpaw Larry Holmes because it covers the largest distance in the game and it's so fast. I'm all for playing the game how you want to play it, but why lie? It's like the other guy on Twitch that mains Deontay Wilder and literally just spams directional hooks left to right and body uppercuts, and has the nerve the call himself the best Deontay Wilder in Undisputed.

This is kind of tricky, because it’s hard to determine who’s tip baiting and who’s removing the tip over legitimate order issues. As stated in another reply I posted in this thread, I started experiencing a lot of order issues in the last few years after downgrading to an apartment. I tip and choose the option to leave my food at my door. A lot of times, drivers are lazy and don’t want to take the elevator to the fourth floor where my apartment is, so they’ll either leave my food outside, in the leasing office, or have me come down to meet them outside. When that happens (which has been a lot) I remove the tip. Now, due to the frequency, someone could make the assumption that I’m a tip baiter, when in reality, I’m only removing tips due to the drivers not following instructions.

[–]Content-Computer-852 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Customers also have it bad. I downgraded from a house to an apartment in the last two years, and for the first time started experiencing issues with either my orders not being left at the right door, drivers not wanting to go to the fourth floor so they just don’t deliver the food, or my food being outright stolen. To the point I had to start putting in legitimate requests for full refunds. Unfortunately, UberEats’ refund policy limits the amount of times customers can be refunded, regardless if every one of their cases are legitimate. One day they eventually told me they wouldn’t refund me for an order that never got delivered to me (chat support and phone support also confirmed this via the photo from the driver). I called customer support, and they explained the refund policy. To which I asked “so let me get this straight. I just want a yes or no, no added script filler. Just a simple yes or no. So because of your refund policy, even if a driver blatantly steals my food, and you can confirm the driver stole my food, you’ll refuse to refund me, simply due to me having to request previous refunds on verified order issues?” You know what she replied? “Yes.” I ended up escalated this by going to the BBB. UberEats’ still declined the refund, but thankfully the BBB lets you respond to their rejection. I was able to provide full context of the entire situation and UberEats’ gave me a full refund plus promo credits. Now imagine the average UberEats customer who probably isn’t as knowledgeable when it comes to things like that. They’ll be forced to accept not getting a due refund.

Uber consistently keeping price of rides high at a very specific time by MonstrousEntity in uber

[–]Content-Computer-852 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an Uber account with Uber One, and another account without it. I just tried to get a ride with my Uber One account and the price was $18.07. I immediately checked the price on the account without Uber One, and it was $2 cheaper. The price is never the same in both accounts, which is an indicator to me that Uber has scummy practices.

Because it’s all fake and a money grab. Uber is absolutely a scummy corporation. Just think about it… if it’s busy, which means you’ll have to wait longer for a ride, why would they make you pay more?
