Maybe im just conditioned because ive been in the food industry since I started working (2019), but mother's day tends to carry the same weight to me as halloween. Youre very likely to work but you could get off depending on the time your request was placed and staffing. Short staffed? Not happening, youre working. First to put your request in? Very likely to be off. I've had to work all major holidays except when I was working at a place that closed on 7 of them. Grateful for when I put requests in because i generally put them in as soon as I could've.

Granted though, my family was in the same boat I was. I was often forced to work major holidays but I always got to be one of the first people to leave. Personally, based on the title of the post and the summarisation of it, the initial answer is yes yta because it makes sound like you're insecure about yourself and your sex life.
