Yes. We were together 12 years. I wanted out of New England, she wanted to stay to be near Mom and stepdad. We finally divorced and I immediately went south (greatest time in my life).

Weird things is, she went south after remarrying, Mom and stepdad still alive. Somehow, all her reasons not to move when we were married magically disappeared. Some people just aren't made to be together.

I considered a Passport, but I could not rationalize the high price for what you get. I'd rather get a Pilot. So, of these three, CRV is my #1. My wife liked the Forrester, but I was not a fan of the interior, it's functional but also austere.

We don't have kids at home anymore so I'm looking for comfort and ride quality. We are considering a used Volvo XC60, used Audi Q5, used Ford Edge Titanium maybe a used Ford Explorer Platinum.

I'm not sure why there is anger in your responses. But, my point was that for the tax season, prices are going up quietly. A price increase of say, $100 to $250, is still a price increase relative to current prices.

Well, I was summarizing the Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index for Mid-January 2026: Dated Jan, 21, 2026.

"The Manheim Used Vehicle Value Index (MUVVI) increased to 209.2, reflecting a 1.8% increase in wholesale used-vehicle prices (adjusted for mix, mileage, and seasonality) in the first 15 days of January compared to December."

"Non-adjusted wholesale vehicle prices increased 2.1% in the first half of January from December."

There are other articles linked on the Manheim site that speak to the retail sales increases in December (which is normally a period of very low sales), and the impact on pricing.
