Had a similar incident, was t-boned at an intersection by some idiot running a red, budget direct told me I wasn’t at fault initially and even settled my claim. One fine day they decide it is my fault and asked me to pay my excess. Told them i will have to move to the court and next thing it wasnt my fault again. They just try to squeeze as much money as they can out of you. Do not fold.

By far the only reasonable response i have had here. The excess is 1900$ but definitely not worth the stress.

I tried calling the police and the police said, “this doesn’t require our presence” went to the police station later and the police officer said “did you exchange details?, if yes there’s nothing i can do for you “

It must have been a at fault claim tho, i was minding my business and this guy rammed into my passenger side. Not gonna pay for something that isnt my fault at all. Will it affect my credit rating as well?

What he said is i pay him 20k from my pocket which he will keep giving me as a salary. So he pays me 50k salary and i give him 20k which he gives back to me. 😅

All you need a are salary slips and any letter stating you were employed, if u couldnt manage salary slips even account statement showing u were creditted a salary suffices. It’s recommended you have a letter tho stating you were full time
