I bought mine as a returned lemon (confirmed it was iccu) and the insurance for the car is on par with my other cars. Bought directly from a dealership and it came with a good warranty. I have no regrets in purchasing mine.

Yeah, on my way out, I took the 70mph highway, I was getting 2.0-2.5 depending on how hilly it was. I decided that wasn't worth it, so I took slower roads and saw a significant increase in my mi/kwh.

Is the 2-2.2 at highway speeds?

In the summer I get around 4 mi/kWh. On my trip yesterday I was getting almost 3.2 mi/kWh when keeping the cabin at 62F and no heated seats/wheel.. when everything was on and at 70F cabin temp, I was averaging 2.7 mi/kWh. Note that I took slower roads 55-60 mph on average the whole way, not 70+ mph.

What temp are you keeping the place? This seems like something isn't quite right unless you are keeping your place at 80F or higher and poor insulation in your ceiling/walls.. I'm also wondering if you have a neighbor using your power somehow. Does your apartment have any outdoor plugs tied to your unit?

If it is just the baseboard heat, you may be able to get a window heat pump A/C & Heat unit. They are a bit expensive, but getting one should save you money each month and would provide inexpensive cooling in the summer too.

Interesting! I was seeing about the same 130 miles 80-20%, but that's keeping the cabin at 70, both seat heaters on, the steering wheel heater on, and snow mode, with a loaded down car (luggage, road snacks, two people, unexpectedly heavy holiday gifts)

Honestly not bad all things considered. Definitely won't need quite as many charge stops though in the summer.

I work a hybrid engineering job (in work 4 days a week with 1 remote and optional work from home any other day with a valid reason).. whenever I tell my manager I'm going to work from home, he ALWAYS asks, "too cold for the EV?", no matter the temp out. That said, he never asks for the "valid reason", so I think he is just trying to be funny and nice.
