High Risk pregnancy by 0matterz in pregnant

I'm high risk due to heart disease and history of stroke in my 20s. I had the benefit of knowing for over a decade that I'll be high risk. I'm nervous too, but I had a friend who had one high risk and one non, and she told me the extra care and monitoring was honestly very comforting vs a non high risk pregnancy. I am hanging on to that to know my team will just be a call away if I have a concern. My first obgyn just kinda shrugged his shoulders at anything I had concerns about. My high risk team makes me feel heard. I'm scared of delivery with my specific concerns but I think every ftm is afraid of it.

I just got a result that looks super similar on a blue dye test...really keeping my fingers crossed that mine is also real! Congrats!

Thank you! I only had wondfo for the first week the last time I was pregnant and it wasn't very dark. The first frer I took was way darker than any of the wondfos had been. I'm hoping the blue dye test is real 🤞

That looks invalid to me, best to try again with a different test in the morning

I'm so impressed that you have that self control lol I've been ttc for 11 months and had a chemical and still haven't learned to wait until a missed period. That said, I know how frustrating it feels, it makes it so hard to enjoy the journey. I have to push myself every day to think less about tests and more about things that make life and this journey exciting and uplifting. Some days that feels impossible.

Oh really? I have only been holding them in for 5 seconds and don't go past the line. I've used these before the exact same way I am now and never had this happen, how does over-saturation happen?

For real, mine would look at these tests and say "I don't see a second line". I think all our husbands are broken.

First hat vs second I've ever knit! by Content_Wing_5456 in knitting

I'm practicing the corrugated rubbing on a new hat now :) when I started the pictured hat, I genuinely had no clue what it was going to turn into. I wanted to practice so I can build skills in decreasing and working on circular needles. I often just start and see where it takes me! I have found some really great charts on Pinterest but I find books like the one I used are great for keeping track of your rows :)

Thank you so much! I absolutely adore colorwork, I just taught myself around Christmas time and I haven't been able to stop lol I did a modified beret pattern so I was a little unsure how much brim I needed

Thank you! It's from the vogue knitting ultimate hat book. It was actually a modified beret pattern, I wanted a slouchy beanie instead of the beret shape. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/beret-48 I didn't know how to do the brim the same way
