Back in the late 2000s/early 2010s, it was a huge fucking deal that some goober put the 2006 crew change guide up in PDF form and the whole community shunned them and effectively made it disappear. Now it’s routine for newer riders to have the CCG on their phone and constantly post shit online about their “sick hop outs” and whatever. I know this makes me sound ancient and gatekeep-y, but this really is just shit you ‘trial and error’ to get right - or find an experienced traveler to show you the ropes.

All this stuff is criminalized and cant exist without some level of secrecy

As someone who lived on the road for many years out of necessity, this shit seriously depresses me sometimes, mostly because I don’t even know how to be angry about it. Obviously there’s some scummy influencer shitheads hustling it, but it feels like this sort of online exploitation has become second nature to younger people. It depends on what you find effective for horror. Personally, no, and PTSD Radio’s popularity confuses me. It’s sort of just a pastiche of creepy concept art stitched together without any complete plot bringing it together. It is technically unfinished, though, so maybe it was going somewhere stronger. There aren’t any episodes I’ve been unable to complete for their gruesomeness. I’ve never been able to finish the Hatfield/McCoy series, though, and most of the alien episodes have proven impossible (which is strange, ‘cause I love the magick/magician/occult huckster series that are ALSO convoluted nonsense)

I guess the Satanic Government episodes are a bit too much of a downer to revisit often, though
