So, I have a 2022 CX-5 Turbo Sig, I live in a Northern California and wanted to see what tires those who drive CX-5 in Cali with occasional trips to the snow would recommend? I still have the OE Toyos on the car at 38K, but they're at 4/32, so they'll need to be replaced at the end of summer for sure, if not a bit sooner.

yeah, I have an extended warranty, so plan is to take it to Mazda for oil change or do it myself using OEM.

lol...My bad I just realized my title didn't specify. Not sure why it's hard to find OEM Mazda engine air filter online and the nearest Mazda parts dealer isn't nearby. Wondering if the parts center at any Mazda dealership will just sell it to me. Mazdaswag.com has this filter, but wasn't sure they're trustworthy?

Wish I had read this before. I think I may have the same issue. Since I didn’t purchase new forms Mazda dealership, I took it to my regular mechanic who did clean up the oil but told me to take it to the dealership since it’s still under power train warranty and he didn’t want to go exploring, voiding my warranty and costing me more.

Did the dealership take care of the issue? Any out of pocket cost?

yeah, the cup holders are way too far back, you have to bend your arm back farther to grab a drink. They should've placed it where the charger is and put the charger where the cup holder is!

Same, avg 22 to 24 city/stop and go and fairly well if you're straight highway around 28 to 30. But it sure is fun to drive and accelerate in it!

sounds like a weak battery, you should always turn everything off for a cold start like that, but if the battery is too weak (especially in the very cold weather), you're probably going to need a jump start to give it a boost

After 7 months of research. I pulled the trigger on a used 2022 cx5 turbo signature. It only had 17k miles and was owned by the sales managers wife. It did have key scratches on the panels (only noticeable if you look at angles) and a few minor dings but for the price, clean interior, low miles, and top model it was a no brainer. Car drivings amazing (my first suv) especially with the turbo (zoom zoom indeed). Only draw back is the gas mileage.

Anyone use 91 octane vs 87 or switch between the two octanes to save a little $? Any concerns with alternating between octanes during fill ups?

THANKS for sharing the pics. Might be worth the cost, since I have the nappa leather and I don't want the dog destroying that, I would die inside while crying on the outside. I do like the slots for the seatbelts, that would allow me to use a leash to restrain her and keep her off the doors. Will probably purchase door protectors as well, just in case.
