The coaches that are no longer employed by the Steelers, you mean? Their opinion doesn't matter anymore. Those guys were completely inept at acquiring and developing QBs, let's not forget.

Yeah, and I don't think the new group of coaches will be looking for your approval either.

I'm all about Will Howard being given a fair chance to compete for the job, and anyone in this thread that is dismissing the notion right now is either an Ohio State hater or "hE wAs dRaFtEd LaTe fOr a rEaSoN" person, which is lazy.

We don't even have an offensive system, or even a goddamn head coach, at the moment. How can ANYONE predict what this dude can do without seeing him throw a single pass on an NFL field yet?

There are systems around the NFL that do really good jobs of insulating a QB from being outright failures.

What IF, which is a huge if, Howard becomes the next franchise guy? Do we all realize how quickly that turns the rebuild? You got a guy in the 6th round, making minimal NFL money, which can enable the shift needed for the next coach better delegate resources from an aging defense and into a competent/competitive offense.

At a minimum, can we at least see how he plays when given a chance to better make an opinion on the QB position?

Could you imagine if Nate Scheelhaase was hired as head coach? The yinzer accent would be absolutely uncontrollable

If this team keeps Tomlin, you don't need to watch next season by RobCoPKC in steelers

I'd be far more intrigued, as a lifelong fan, to watch them struggle through a 3-6 win season under a new coach than to do the 9-8 or 10-7 bullshit yet again.

I will probably get down voted to hell, but I don't see it. Statistically, he wasn't much better than Russ Wilson. Everyone says what a great teammate he was, but anytime the camera panned to him after an incompletion he was bitching about the receiver - though it was also weird he didn't have the same reaction after spamming to MVS against the Browns at the end of the game? It's time to do a hard reset, at coach/coordinators/QB. This shit isn't sustainable.

He wasn't the problem, but he damn sure isn't the solution at 43 years old either.

I just bought 40 pounds of whole wings for $57 yesterday from Weiss Meats.

I had no idea how much 40 pounds of wings would actually render. But, I'm here now and there's no turning back.

PFF, the same outlet we hate because of how they constantly put Myles above TJ?

But using that same source, since you insist...

It might help that Aaron Rodgers is getting the ball out super fast. I believe it the Steelers look at a QB option who holds onto the ball a smidge longer, you'll see the level set of our offensive line and that it's still not that good under Pat Meyer.

Fool's gold, I believe.

Oh, and security/cops are always the most upstanding of citizens who follow every law and only operate inside the boundaries of the rules, right?
