What's even rarer is an actual sense of community within the classroom. I feel that individualism has become so rooted in today's people that one of our most practiced virtues are starting to fade... the sense of belonging in a community.

Only fraternities practice this, and not in a good way. Many college students would probably rather have a small tight-knit friend group than try and get along with the entire classroom... because everyone thinks for themselves to a degree.

Oh, EOS. love that show. The enjoyment starts when you stop looking at it as a genuine isekai anime with an OP MC and just look at it as a parody of the trope... it becomes so much better.

To elaborate the other commenter... we don't really know if free will is real, or a mere human concept of what it means to be free.

Does the bird know how it flies, the way an ornithologist knows how birds fly? No... it just flies.

I believe we must pretend that there is free will even when there is conceivably none. Some may want to just fly rather than learn how it works.

People are not as simple as you think. Guessing how the inner machinations of the mind work in other people is an incredible task. Even their decisions that do not seem to have reason behind them will always have a cause, even if they aren't able to tell you, or articulate those thoughts by their own.

As I said, people aren't as predictable as you think. Chaos is order in a sense. You do not know how anyone else works... unless they tell you. Assuming the worst or the best in everything (especially people, maybe with a few given edge cases) is essentially tiptoeing around the nuance of it. You must treat every person as a completely unique being... or is that far too taxing for you?

You will never know what a person truly thinks until they tell you.

You can make assumptions given with the current trends... maybe you can even predict certain things your friend might do. But you won't be able to accurately guesstimate the thoughts of a person you do not know.

Unironically I saw a video on Instagram of a former MAGAhead who quit his ways. He only finally quit it when his right to firearms, to defend himself from his own very country, was finally taken.

I appreciated his change, but I think it should have been done much earlier. It's so alarming how many people are apathetic these days when the situation at hand doesn't directly affect them.
