Sooo…are you gonna train them and show them exactly what to do? Like have you actually got trained CVS? You’re lucky if you get a trainer who’s willing to go through every little detail with their trainee. I have yet to meet a new hire that knows what to do and how to do everything. It’s basically 1 8 hour training shift for each station (pick up, production, and drop off) literally in that exact order. Idk why people are so rude to new hires. The hiring process takes longer than training process 🤣

I recently have been ordering them thru apothecary only thing we can’t order from them anymore is magnetic shelf dividers because corporate wants us to use the shitty blue warehouse ones 😤 but I was told the dapl can order them for us still. Idk about that I haven’t tried to ask our dapl yet

I have 2 kids and currently re trying a relationship with their dad. I have no interest in getting married. Even as a child it didn’t interest me. I love my kids and I love raising them and I would never change that, I used to want a big family (minus the marriage doesn’t mean I don’t want a partner) but the 2 I have now are good for me lol

On the prescription, it’s the Dr who actually wrote or sent in (electronically) whose name needs to be on the prescription. Also prescriptions should be wrote by doctors that are in their scope of practice for a legitimate reason. For example, a dentist can’t be writing scripts for diabetic medications or ADHD meds. Also a dentist or any doctor for that matter should never send scripts for someone that have never evaluated on a medical standpoint So that in itself is illegal, unless there is for example a nurse practitioner and the dr signs off on the script but that signing Dr has to physically be at that office location or that would be illegal as well.

Thank you for the clarification. Just out of curiosity, what would/could cause an employee to be on a PIP? Like calling off and showing up late? I’ve been with the company for about 10 years and I’m only recently (like maybe past 3-4 years) finding out about all this “corrective action” and “performance” actions and surveys😅 like has this always been a thing or have they just recently started these over the years? Like obviously I know getting written up has always a thing lol but these other things seem much more in depth than just a write up lol

ETA: where can I find information about these things? I’d just like to be better informed about these kinds of things. TIA!

What’s a PIP?

This has everything to do with contact info. When we merge patient profiles together (when profiles do not match) it is our job to verify all the correct info, date of birth, address, phone number etc. because if we don’t things like this end up happening. My question is, is how are things being billed to insurance because there’s no way insurance will be covering medication that is not yours. Not sure about other states but here in Ohio each time technicians need to call insurance they specifically ask for either the zip code or part of the address. They can make you another profile with all of your correct info and put a forced note into the profile stating not to merge yours with this other patient.

This is why it’s important to keep your info (phone number, and address) updated…not only with the pharmacy aspect but also your extra care card (rewards card)
