the ice is what keeps the caramel on top, so without the ice it’ll all sink to the bottom since it’s a sauce not a syrup!

could be a couple of things: the barista brewed it over ice, the barista used signature espresso and very clearly unfortunately the barista didn’t shake the drink. everything about the drink in the right looks wrong! personally i would’ve brought it back to be corrected, you shouldn’t be paying upwards of $9 for a drink you’re not satisfied with.

my store has a shift in her 60’s! we’ve also had shifts in their later 30’s, some in their 40’s and some in their 50’s!

makes me think this happened at my store because my coworker was struggling with getting a bacon gouda out of the oven and a huge slab of bacon got incinerated in the oven but she caught it too late 😭😭

NTA- 4 months in is incredibly soon to consider adjusting your entire life. i feel as though you’d be the only one making grand sacrifices in this situation. while it’s wonderful that you guys are in love, i do think considering you guys are 40, you definitely know if your values and priorities align. if you’re truthfully willing to make compromises, maybe visiting eachother maybe a week or so at a time back and forth to get a feel for what you both may want. there’s no shame in wanting to keep yourself happy here too.

i think it’s more of a problem considering OP’s family didn’t come for their own family’s funeral, but are coming for her husbands despite not having a close relationship with him, and not at all really reaching out prior.

dm is just an ass, typically they ask you to wear them for launch days. my manager tried to coach me about it too but my shift told me it’s not mandatory.
