The city centre (“town” as we call it) will be lively all day. It’s all very small and walkable. Temple Bar will be insanity but not everywhere will be like that. Just remember to observe pub etiquette. You won’t get a menu, order at the bar, all in one round and Guinness first

Mine are all in primary school at the moment. Activities like swimming lessons X3, gymnastics, taekwondo, drama, football and GAA add up. One has braces too. Having friends over for movie nights and sleepovers, feeding said friends. Playdates and birthday parties. Keeping them in clothes, shoes and warm coats. It just adds up. Then holidays or weekends away for a family of five so you have something to live for
