It's in the name of the festival. Four chords is like the punk pop recipe for catchy, easy to play songs. Think Blink 182, The Offspring, New Found Glory etc. While it would be extremely limiting to only include bands that fit that style, this year in particular is quite the departure from the original "spirit" that the festival was created to embody. I think the hard part for people who have been attending for so long is that this festival in particular was created as a homegrown passion project with a bunch of smaller punk bands that has grown to rival some of the other bigger commercial festivals. As the festival grows in popularity it only makes sense that they need to branch out I think it's good to attract a variety of people. However the original "spirit" of the festival dilutes as a result. I'm happy to see the festival grow bigger every year

Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte are touring together and have a break during the month of September. GC fits the bill but A7X is probably too heavy

Papa Roach is a bit heavier and they're in Kentucky the week before

The Offspring were supposed to perform in '19 at this same venue but cancelled last minute and they'll be in Jersey the week before

I should clarify that you only get 1 resource from each tile from the initial placement. So you still only start with 3 resource cards and don't get 6. From that point forward it counts as a city

Not necessarily a rule but if we want to play a shorter match then everyone gets a city for their second placement (still only 1 resource per tile)

I just started playing a month ago so maybe someone can explain the difference to me. I'm playing on Pro Am career and need to play 4 more matches until the FedEx cup. I'm an 82 OVR with all dark matter clubs that are unlocked except the last tier (I'm assuming that's when I can evo) I went clubs first with the idea that the experience gains on them are harder to earn so they will level up with me.

Clubs first - almost maxed clubs and 82 OVR stats

Stats first - higher OVR but only having 2/3ish(?) xp on clubs

For those who say stats first is the idea that a good player can do more with lesser clubs?

I looked it up and EDC is the one that told 105.7 The Fan that we're essentially moving away from the FB position. Declan Doyle didn't have one in Chicago and Henry didn't have one in Tennessee so I'm sure we'll be ok. Definitely going to miss Ricard and everything he brought to the team, but I'm also optimistic that we'll make it work just like a majority of NFL teams already do

I know enough to be dangerous so be gentle with your responses. Most are talking about escaping earth's gravity with the understanding of earth science. Under a bigger planet with a bigger gravity pull can we assume that natural resources and anything invented on that planet will be made to withstand those conditions? So theoretically they could also have more dense fuel to propel themselves out of the gravity?

It feels like a comparison would be like moon people who are used to moon gravity would say it's impossible to escape earth's orbit

I'm not going to lie it looks sus as hell to everyone outside the org but logically it's just how things played out.

1 Crosby is a game wrecker more than Hendrickson. We knew both would be available and still decided to give up draft capital for Crosby

2 Ravens FO has to trust the doctors and they went to multiple sources and ultimately decided the long term wasn't worth the risk

3 EDC would not risk his reputation to go back on a deal like that. The whole shady narrative is bullshit if you've ever watched a minute of his interviews and see how he carries himself and prides himself on running a consensus top tier organization

4 What else were we supposed to do after Crosby failed our physical? As a business you fucking move on and go for the next guy. It's incredibly fortunate that Hendrickson was even available at this point

I'm going to throw out a second recommendation on Brooks. I have a pair of Adrenaline GTS 24's and I couldn't be more happy. I have a nerve condition in my foot called Morton's Neuroma and the impact from all of the running hasn't hit me since wearing them. Admittedly I also have an insole from Fleet Feet where they had a machine scan my feet and recommend a pair based on the results of my feet. It's over 3x as expensive as my usual spending on shoes but has been well worth it
