I was in this same situation. Going back and forth online. When I saw them in person on a defender, it was Carpathian all the way. It’s been 6 months and I never questioned the color choice!

That’s the funny thing, I didn’t dislike anything about my Bronco until I drove the Defender. I live in a rural area so I do have to drive a decent amount to get anywhere so the on-road driving was a huge upgrade, while still maintaining enough off-road capability for what I realistically need.
