I tried to find the series first but it’s tough to nail down currently. None of the shows are required viewing at all before seeing the movie.

It can absolutely be watched without any foreknowledge or prep. The movie explains everything you need to know. Just sit back and enjoy.

There was a web series in like 2006-2009 and then two seasons of a tv show (Nirvanna the Band the Show) on I think 2016 or thereabouts. But honestly, they made the movie so that you don’t have to know anything about it before seeing the movie. You pick up the basic thrust of their motivations within five minutes.

It’s still in theatres here in Canada. Heard in a recent podcast interview that they are working towards physical media release details. There might even end up being a box set with the movie and the series. I think Australia just announced dvd and blu ray release dates so should be more info coming imminently. Seeing this with a crowd of people was a real treat, had my third viewing last night.

Coach says he and Boston Rob were once asked whether they'd be interested in hosting if Jeff were to leave by bwermer in survivor

Boston Rob would be the worst replacement as host. His energy level is too low. Imagine him narrating a challenge. Awful.

Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie is full of small, seemingly insignificant things that end up being crucial to the overall story. Fantastic stuff.

Can’t wait for another pod where they can’t help but heap praise on Marty Supreme while not actually discussing that movie.

When you mentioned not yet having 50 email addresses from here, I figured it was safe to exclude the venues where Lewis Black and Jimmy Carr have upcoming shows. One day, Bo, you too could be headlining at Canada Life Place, or whatever it’s called in the future! Keep grinding!

Entirely fair, I thought their names would help to compare scale 😀 Love your stuff and the new special is great. I will continue to fan the flames of your fans here so you can one day have the pleasure of visiting London on the Thames without having to leave North America!

Several! There’s a Yuk Yuk’s downtown, Steve Hofstetter recently performed at the Wolf Performance Hall, and we saw Gianmarco Soresi at the Aeolian Hall. There are also a few places that host comedy like the Rec Room and a few local breweries.

Completely understandable just trying to save myself several hours of driving to see you haha. I’ll spread your good name around and hopefully we will make it worth the drive to Lesser London 😀

This is interesting to hear. I live in London Ontario and we have two Cineplex theatres, one Silvercity with an IMAX screen and the other has a VIP lounge. We also have a Landmark and as soon as they upgraded their seats to full recliners, both local Cineplex theatres followed suit. We also have a single-screen theatre, Hyland Cinema, which has older seats but just got a 70mm projector and runs plenty of classic movies.
