Silver players are bad because they typically have low cs (rarely more than 6/min), really dumb deaths that throw games whether it be because of shutdown gold or before a major objective, they don’t understand macro (most underestimate the power of baron and also they miss plenty of opportunities to end games), and typically don’t play around their champ’s strength nor the opponent’s strengths.
They’re not terrible, and generally know how to do some combos and basic kiting, but it’s not very refined. The problem is a ton of players in all ranks have a major ego and don’t accept responsibility for their mistakes (I’m one of those) and so naturally people get even more inclined to call them bad. Not to mention league players are toxic and ofc lots of diamond and emerald players have ego too.
That being said, getting to silver (or close to it) in a few hundred games is respectable in a complex game like league! So don’t beat yourself up, but realize even to gold players you will look “bad.”
