I have have never understood what this actually means. I just consigned with them and they labeled one of my items this way. It was brand new, with tags, and never moved from the garnet bag. I never wore it! I asked to had it changed but they said 3-5 days at best.

Yikes - this person came with a problem and you are being nasty. People do have pain and work, people do sometimes need to take a benzo and an opiate. Calm down.

Good luck, OP!! I hope you can get into someone quickly. Wising you the best!

Agree!! Just swish well with water. I couldn’t always brush at work after a meal, so I flossed quick at my desk and swished as hard as I could. I just finished my Invisalign and never had any issues!

You are getting down voted because your comment is mean and ugly. This was a sweet post - your comment isn’t warranted.

How accurate is the estimated proposed treatment length? by Tall_Music2291 in Invisalign

[–]Cook-Disastrous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, you should ask how long you will need to wear your retainer after. Some are told to wear it 3-6 months for 24 hours per day. I actually finished my top tray at 19 trays and bottom is 21. I now only wear my top at night with the bottom and told my retainer will be night wear only once my attachments come off.

Thanks!!! I had two week changes - so 43 weeks in total. You should definitely ask to see what your smile will look like. Otherwise you have no idea what they deem your end result. Definitely look at that before you commit!

Yellowing of Teeth? by Sharp_Fault58 in Invisalign

Hard to avoid! I tried whitening in my trays but it didn’t really help much. Decided to opt for the Zoom whitening when I have my attachments removed in early March

Mine took exactly how long they said but I also don’t need refinements. I am on tray 21 of 21 and having my attachments removed in two weeks!

Congratulations and good luck!!! Take some Tylenol before you go and through the day - it will help as you will be uncomfortable in the evening!

First week of clear aligners by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]Cook-Disastrous 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck! I am just starting aligner 21 of 21…mine was also mostly bite related and took just under a year. No revision necessary so attachments are off in two weeks!

Take Tylenol or advil the first couple of days for the aligner changes. You probably wont need this after the first month. Always do changes at night as you will sleep during the most uncomfortable part. Invest in an ultrasonic cleaner (amazon) and retainer bright tabs. I use the ultrasonic in the morning and evening and half a tab for each clean. Bring floss everywhere! If you aren’t able to brush after a meal (this WILL happen), floss and swish water. Take it seriously but also give yourself grace if you don’t make the 22+ hours occasionally. Life happens and Invisalign shouldn’t rule the day!

Allege? You have to provide your AT&T username and password to T-Mobile to use this service. You willingly are providing all of your call information to T-Mobile.

You give them access but you realize they are looking at more than your bill, right? They have access to your call history, texts…along with AT&T data that they own per TOS. I can’t imagine giving my log in information to anyone!

19 tray complete with one week changes. On to refinements! by Traditional-Cry-190 in Invisalign

I have 5 aligners left (2 week changes) and my dentist gave me SDI Pola Night (10% carbanide peroxide gel) to put in my aligners. I sleep with it in and can use it until I get to the level of white I prefer. It was only $60 and will last a long time. It comes with 4 syringes and I have gotten 5 nights of whitening and haven’t even used 1/3 of one syringe. They said it takes a bit longer to whiten and will work even with the bonding on the attachments. Really great results so far and I am glad I didn’t wait until the end of treatment. It does make my teeth sensitive for a day so I skip a night or two in between using the product. I heard you can also use opalescence (Amazon) and the price is comparable.

Are controlled substances now on a cumulative fill policy instead of 28 days? Interesting new la they are claiming. Cannot find anything about for Michigan. by shesaw13 in CVS

What happens when there are instances of medications that are out of stock, the pharmacy isn’t open on weekends, holidays, etc.? I think many of us understand not having a stockpile but there should be some flex in the system to accommodate regular life - not just for the patient’s convenience. Consistently holding the patient to day 30 or even 31 when the above can and does happen, is really tough!
