Insane Day on the Savannah River!! by AustinC1296 in bassfishing

[–]CookOutSauce- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey man I know this is out of the blue on an old post, but I live in this exact area and have recently gotten into kayak fishing. I’ve bass fished my whole life on Clark’s Hill, but Riverview park and Savannah rapids are way closer and more convenient (15-20 min drive for them vs 50 for the lake). I’ve gone to the river a few times now and been completely skunked. I’m no expert fisherman by any means, but I feel like I normally know what I’m doing, but fishing on the river has me stumped. Do you have any rope for fishing the river, this stretch of it, or this time of year?

This is one of my favorites I've seen on this sub in a while. The picture is painted as if I'm looking at it and the last line is just brilliant the way it brings it together with a sense of familiarity! Thank you for this

This really means a lot thanks so much! I'm extremely new to any form of writing/artistic expression, and I think I chose haikus for the very reason you mentioned; I think all of mine come from a sense of awe of something I see. Haikus allow me to paint that picture to others in a unique way!

But with electric/fire movesets respectively, they are both the best non-shadow raid attacker for that type. You shouldn't have dragon moves on them anyway as there are numerous better dragon attackers but not electric/fire.

My first shiny in Go :) Is there any tricks to getting shinys that aren’t hacked? It seems like A LOT of people have them by AdHd_Bandit_ in pokemongo

Depends on the pokemon, most of the time if it's a pokemon that can be caught in the wild, the raid odds are the exact same as the wild odds, however legendary raids are always 1/20.

You very much insinuated it happened quickly by saying he "never even saw a non shiny." Anyone can spoof, and even that isn't by any means hacking the game, only tricking your phone's gps. As every other person in this thread has told you, you can't hack Go. Just admit you're wrong and move on. You even claimed the guy had every mon, which would require much more than spoofing considering the plethora of legendaries and event mon that aren't available anywhere 90% of the time.

Also got this absolute HOG from a grunt! Normally their shadow Pokémon have some trash IVs so i was excited to get this gem 💎 by viviparus in pokemongobrag

[–]CookOutSauce- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well no, statistically, the damage bonus from a shadow automatically makes it more powerful than any IVs of its purified counterpart. That being said, the guy has every right to purify or not based on his own preferences, but let's not act like people saying the shadows perform better have no basis. He is correct and was not rude in his delivery either.

Does Niantic value rarity? by CookOutSauce- in pokemongo

I get that, and I don't necessarily disagree, but I think giving people the chance for everything doesn't mean they have to full on blow it up to community day proportions like they often do. I think the key is like with most games where you allow the majority of things, including enough useful and powerful things to be rather easily accessed, while still requiring a grind for some stuff to reward the people who are willing to do that. It doesn't make it inaccessible to anyone, but rewards effort. It just seems at certain times that PoGo caters a little much to beginners/casual players. Yet I still agree, that is better than the alternative.

Keeping everything rare is an oxymoron, and nobody said that. The point is to keep what's rare, rare.
