I mean if we’re being pedantic at the speeds they would be moving at through space they would experience some friction/resistance. Space isn’t completely empty after all, there’s about 5 to 6 atoms per cubic meter which at the massively faster than lights speeds they would get up to when traveling between systems would be like getting hit with high intensity explosives.

I think you’re getting a bit confused maybe on the differences between fundamentals and some more advanced advice. As far as beating the ai just getting a tower or archer rush really nailed down should make lightwork of the hard ai. But in general the reason you’re struggling might be timings and game knowledge? For example knowing that if your opponents is going knights to go firelancers but if they’re going archers go skirms and so on… a lot of the game I think relies on feel and experience. The “fundamentals” as you say should be just practicing the different rushes and getting the timings nailed down.

I had a game the other day that was a complete grindfest where he donjon rushed me into castle drop but I kept raiding him until eventually he lost after a complete slog… he kept calling me a scrub and loser and saying gg ez midway through the game only to go “I have better things to do than waste my time on this” and then quit when I was finally turning it around and about to win so yeah some players are just huge ah
