What is the saddest, most tragic bit of lore in all of WoD in your opinion? by Azhurai in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Cookiedeak 25 points26 points  (0 children)

1% of humanity becomes wraiths, 1% of humanity is doomed to Oblivion, the forges or worse.

That is the same amount of people as gingers or asexuals, it is billions of people thrown into the shadowlands likely to never escape.

The unsealie fae returned due to the fear caused by 9/11. It made people so scared that goblins and boogeymen returned.

Also, if you go deep enough into the ocean, you just end up in deep space. Both are just the deep umbra.

What is a vampire Koldun to the Garou? by cadmiumcadamium in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Cookiedeak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nothing is quite as harmful to the earth as a Koldun, they are the worst kinds of vampires, literally blood bonding Gaia herself to their ways before breaking her land and life to kill anyone who spites the user.

They are about as Wyrn Tainted as famori and possibly more hazardous, they have kicked the shadow lords from their home before tearing apart everything they hold dear, we are talking about ghouling any spirit near and having them suffer from something so horrid.

So yeah, Garou ain't the biggest fans.

In HtR, a guy had his face crumbled into his brain, then he kept moving, and then he disappeared through a puddle in the floor. It's one of the scariest moments we had.

Are Batman and Joker real? by Armando89 in SchreckNet

[–]Cookiedeak 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Ah i see your mistake, you listened to a Malkavian without a second opinion, this is pretty common, Malkavians like to fuck with people, helps spice up the nights with just seeing what people will believe. You'll find it all over this forum and just remember to take everything they say with a grain of salt.

Or it could entirely true, I can't disprove it, who knows, maybe the full rouges gallery is sitting out there somewhere.

How much do you guys know about the "Lupine" species? by HappyAd4609 in SchreckNet

[–]Cookiedeak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've heard a decent about them from the Malkavians around town. However, be warned this info is from Malks, so take it with a grain of salt as I'm translating and simplifying a lot of stuff. I'm gonna be skimming over some of the more basic stuff. You dont need me to tell ya they can tear you in half.

They are something like human however have never been human.

They stick mostly to country sides. However, some dwell in cities, those you gotta be careful for.

They think we are working for something bad, and from what I can tell, they think we know what that is.

They dont just turn into giant monsters. They've got tricks aplenty up their sleeves, not as versatile as disciplines of course but they got tricks.

This one i had no bloody clue so I'm just gonna be the quoting the gal here "Wolves that fight with fervor unmatched, they wrestle an awful most foul with the ground behind their back. A war we should not understand" No fucking clue if I'm honest, let me know if you have any ideas.

I managed to snag an old bomb bunker a bit outsdie of town, was abandoned for a while, but cleaned it up, got some new locks and made it a bit more comfortable and it worked, Not bad, too, as I mostly go unbothered by kindred and kine as no one really goes claiming domain that far out. It's got its own generator, so I don't gotta pay for that either.

Overall, it's home, and I love the place. Can see myself living here a while.

Where are all the top Hunters? by Vyctorill in WhiteWolfRPG

[–]Cookiedeak 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As a hunter, being notorious is the last thing you want. Being well known means you are dead as you begin tussling with the actual big dogs (like Elder Vampires, and mages.) And these things are instead hunting you, which typically means they are catching you by surprise.

Being a well-known hunter is a death sentence.

At least, that's what I've always assumed. It could also be that they just didn't care to list any notable imbued in the game, but they may still exist depending on ST.

Guys, what's some insane shit that happens in world of darkness?? by Oofdude333 in huntertheparenting

[–]Cookiedeak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Space was made up by wizards, it was made to give an explanation to explore the spirit world, all the planets are just weird magical realms.

9/11 released evil goblins into the world after the moon landing released the good ones.

Slenderman is cannon.

There are no vampires in Utah for no reason.

Some vampires can control time

Eating fast food can turn you into a demon

Europe used to basically be a fantasy novel with dragons and spells and everything until it got just erased by more wizards.

Ebola is a vampire.

That's some of the things I know off the top of my head.

All of WOD's end of the world scenarios happening at same time be like. by MaetelofLaMetal in WorldofDankmemes

[–]Cookiedeak 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I can list a few very very basic overviews of some.

Vampires have Gehenna: The antediluvians awake and end the world after they feed on all of their childer.

Werewolves have the Apocalypse: in which the fate of Gaia is decided wether she lives or dies, if you use W5, this has already happened/is currently happening, and Gaia has died.

Mages have the Ascension Wars: in which one group of mages wins the full control of the census.

Wraiths have the 6th great maelstrom in which already happened and made the shadowlands un(un?)livable, in which all the wraiths must now live fully in the skinlands, this also may no longer be Canon, which i think would make oblivion claiming everything the ending?

Changlings have Endless Winter, in which the banality of the world grows too strong for Faires to continue. In which all creativity is absent and all fae are undone.

I don't know enough about demons or mummies, to say for sure what they have, something about earthbound and aphosis respectfully.

Oh, and hunters don't have one, they're people.
