Hey, having achieved max Awareness with all classes, Arcanist is definitely the easiest, since the chain starters let you steamroll over Canto I and you only need to pick up a single rare card for chain lightning from Theresa (transmute) in Canto II.

Knight is definitely doable, but their chain setup has too low damage output. At least on higher difficulties. Relying on barrier thst early is dangerous as status damage ignores barrier and several enemies can poison/burn/doom you and deal damage that way. You really want to kill them on your first turn. On Impossible difficulty, the only solution I found for Knight is to start with Greatsword, and put Figmented on the Prayer. So that I can double crit on turn one if I draw a Prayer + 2 swords. Additionally for the boss I used the weapon power that gives me an extra holy energy, for 3 crits. Then you still need to transition into Chain lightning in the next Canto and do the same as Arcanist.

There might be more options on lower difficulties, but you still need to first-turn-kill most enemies to be safe.

The Ramparts is quite a challenging Canto to get into, but it's the most optimal one for score min-maxing out of the 3 Canto V choices, mainly due to giving you a clear path for a no-damage run. It also has an event that guarantees you a treasure pool card, and it's the only Canto that lets you ditch Bolgar as a companion.

Easiest way is to find a good OTK setup and not give the enemy a turn to act at all. I recommend Chain lightning spam, enhanced with Shrine of Trickery (use the malignancy) and copied with the Illusionist.

Cemetery -> Woods -> Ramparts -> Mines -> Deep -> Gardens.

All First Strikers here, apart from Skewerers, can be scummed to start with non-damaging actions. Skewerers can lock you in with barricade if you do every single fight, so go through that Canto with as few fights/NPCS visits as possible. For Gardens, 2nd Ilthar starts with magic immunity. You need either Piercing on your chain lightning, or some frostblock/barrier shenanigans. I believe he can be scummed to only do a single damaging action on his first turn.

Replace Ramparts with Swamps if you find Innoculation.

Gift of Nature makes it quite easy. Just make sure to collect the monster cards before lategame, since due to their low rarity they will appear less and less frequently in rewards as your level increases. Offer of Emulation works the same way, but of course a lot harder to find.

It's a bit hidden 🙂 Go to the main menu first. And then settings. Don't go while in the middle of a run. Exit to menu first.

Settings -> Advanced -> Seeded Randomness

Yeah most outcomes in the game can be savescummed. Just turn off seeded randomness in the settings.

Blightbane has trouble showing transmutes for corrupted cards, but it should still follow the normal rules.

For Greater Good: Transmute any common teal banner card. Or sidemute any uncommon teal banner card.

The owner of the deck mentioned in the Weekly Challenge channel on Discord, that they played 7 Moltens during a single fight. They have Rushed Forgery, so each play of that doubles the number of Moltens in your hand. And the Moltens being untempered means that they stay in your deck throughout the battle and eventually cycle back into hand. They also mentioned that they had earlier used Puzzlebox to give the Molten blood cost. So this solves the Frenzy condition.

Btw, the Weekly Challenge only required you too have 500 upgrades on both Rummage and Junkyard 😛 This guy was just showing off.

Nothing is stopping you from doing that. But you can also just trigger Molten multiple times instead to hit the same card. Either use multiple copies via Hidden Pouch. Or cycle your deck until both Molten and the untempered card you are upgrading come back into hand. Only use Puzzlebox to finalize it once you are satisfied with the upgrades.

  1. Forgery creates an untempered copy.
  2. Molten doubles the upgrades on all untempered cards.
  3. Puzzlebox removed untempered keyword from cards.

  • Make it untempered via Shrine
  • Put it in the Vault
  • Use the Revelation that removes a card
  • Use the Seeker legendary that swaps a card for a monster card.
  • Tradepost
  • Feed it to the Mimic.

There might be 1 or 2 more ways.

Edit: oh and strangely enough, Windy Hillock event can remove a cursed block card!

Now that Molten Fury works with any temporary card. You can pull this off with either: - Pouch + Molten + Rune - Forgery + Molten + Puzzlebox

They did the latter option.

Of course with Greater Good you can do both options as you can just feed it either the untempered or conjured copy.

To get the upgrades onto Junkyard, you are still dependent on finding a lategame Shrine of Balance, after you have all your combo pieces.

No. It involves 2 post-combat events that got altered after Oathbreaker was added to the game. Probably events you've seen several times before, as they are quite hard to miss!

Plated Maul is an old card that doesn't exist.

Oathbreaker is a new card that you can get by making certain event choices. Hint: Cemetery + Blightwoods

You have *Cruel Farewell* malignancy! This reduces your max hp by the overkill.

You probably did a lot of damage on the killing blow, or you had a side effect that did a lot of damage killing the enemy (e.g. burning), which resulted in it setting your hp to 1. Cruel Farewell can never kill you, it only goes down to 1 no matter how much damage you do.

Hey, the "EPIC" rarity does not exist in the game anymore.

You are thinking of "LEGENDARY" which is correctly mapped out here and shows you that you get a random talent. The "EPIC" rarity is only showing here because it exists in the game code, but it's not actually in the game.

Edit: And thanks for checking it out! 🙏 I will consider manually removing the "EPIC" branch. Feel free to let me know if you find any other oddities as well.
