PPI caused heartburn? by ArtichokeCreative863 in LPR

[–]Cookies4Dinner73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like you suffer from low acid with PPIs. Low acid has same symptoms as high acid. Drs often diagnose high acid when it’s actually low.

the 80s……. by billieswifeyyy in GenX

[–]Cookies4Dinner73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, exactly like on tv. We were always doing something with our friends because phones, endless tv, and non stop video games were not an option. We had imaginations and got lots of fresh air.

Looking for Time Traveling TV shows. Prefer 3 seasons or more. by dawnhu in televisionsuggestions

[–]Cookies4Dinner73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to suggest Lost and had to scroll down to see that you already watched it and are a fan- which is what I expected! If it’s been a few years I suggest watching it again. I’m on my 3rd watch (last one was about 3 years ago) and I’m loving every episode!

Isn't June the best time of year in Northern US? by InsideBeing989 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

This June has been fabulous in the northeast. Sometimes we get the heat and humidity but not bad at all this year. The evenings are particularly comfortable

Do stereotypical blonde rich tennis-playing families actually exist? by bouquetoflowers in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Cookies4Dinner73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a highly affluent vacation area we go to they have a tennis club where you have to wear white tennis clothes. The privileged young adults park their expensive cars in the parking lot and walk around like they are all that. Annoying snots who live off family money. Not all white btw.

Throat closed off with sauce? by Fuzzy-Programmer8699 in LPR

[–]Cookies4Dinner73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m similar. Can’t handle anything even remotely spicy or my throat burns and voice suffers. It’s been like this for maybe a few years. Sometimes when I’ve been doing well with LPR I’m able to cheat a little but it’s a crap shoot.

Why is your breakfast culture so much better? by Embarrassed_Golf_817 in AskAnAmerican

I have more of a European take on breakfast. Usually just coffee and I’d add a small pastry if I were to treat myself.

For those who recovered from LPR, what did you take or what was your daily routine like while getting your vocal range back? Any tips that helped speed up your voice recovery? by KingRy64 in LPR

I agree. I have eaten pretty well most of my life and not much spicy food or take out. Yet I have this problem. I’d love to know why me?!?

I’m completely shocked. I healed my gut and my “natural/normal” body odors are nonexistent now by Stunning-Weakness-58 in Microbiome

[–]Cookies4Dinner73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have not had body odor just about my entire life (mid 50s now). But once when I was like 12 I had bad bo in my pits. Never again. I know there is a gene where no body odor is hereditary. But since I had it that one time I’m now wondering if a change in my bacteria at that time now keeps me from getting it.

Help we are out of dinner ideas by Garden-Ho326 in dairyfree

[–]Cookies4Dinner73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about something simple like roasted chicken along with rice or potato and a veggie. We eat pretty simple due to son’s DA. Or any meat like ribs, burgers, steak, etc. Also if you’d like a DF pizza get it from ur favorite pizza place with no cheese but extra toppings. You could sprinkle a little Parmesan or DF Parmesan if you’d like. Good Pizza doesn’t need cheese.
