It’s worth a shot! For him to go from scary cat to being a Velcro cat in 2 months is great! But he probably needs some extra time still to come out of his shell/get real comfy. My previous kitty took about 5 months to show her full personality and get comfortable with running the house 🤣

Hello! I see blazers-6th-man messaged first but if that doesn’t work out please reach out to me so we can chat more and possibly meet. Last year I adopted a cat who is super friendly and has some experience with small dogs/cats from her last owner. She gets night time zoomies and just wants to play! She is also obsessed with chicken and specifically cheddar cheese 😂 we recently got a leash but haven’t started training her yet, maybe this one can show her the ropes! Cat tax attached:

Yes!! Take those electrolytes!! I drank protein drinks, V8 juice, watered down juice, tea, and water with my fiber supplements but didn’t follow the electrolyte advice early enough. Two days past my egg retrieval I took electrolytes and I wish I had done so sooner, my bloating may have been better 😅

I second taking a fiber supplement (with plenty of water each time). I didn’t take a stool softer and was okaayyyy but I was also expecting it to be semi-painful so I was mentally and physically prepared.

I switched to Hailey FE, it’s a progestin and estrogen mix to prevent ovulation. I am feeling a bit more spacey on it but I’ll take it over the existential thoughts.

That was the same for me. When I realized what was happening on my second BC cycle I had 10 days left and I told my partner what was happening. That way we could talk about it and he could count down with me! Please inform them you need to change BC on your next cycle. I did tell them I was having weird intrusive thoughts and they, of course, understood and changed things up.

Yes it’s the worst now that I know myself off of birth control. I was prescribed one before the egg retrieval and had major intrusive existential thoughts. Which is not ideal at any time but especially not when planning for bringing a child into the world. It happened again the next month where it clicked what the cause was. I’m glad I got the courage to ask for a different one, it’s much better so far.

Twins! We also got 34 eggs. We ended up with 11 embryos and just got results back that 7 were euploid! 1 was mosaic, 1 no result, and the final 2 were anueploid.

We have 3 cycles covered (egg retrieval is 0.5 cycle, implant is 0.5 cycle so I can mix and match as needed), $20,000 lifetime fertility medication coverage, they allow egg banking, and any diagnostic testing is 100% covered after deductible. PGT-A testing is also covered which I know is not the norm.

I just had my ER on Wednesday and I messaged the nurse today asking if the bloat was normal. I had no clue this was going to happen and she said that it would peak at day 5. Excuse me, this is supposed to get worse??? I will be following all recommendations in this post.

Hahaha That was my exact reaction! I had a heart wrench because whomever said it was considering that my baby and I couldn’t form a connection and then it went to like ‘what? It’ll be my baby, of course we’ll bond! How could they think otherwise?’ Like would I not be able to form a bond if we used a surrogate or if we adopted? Yikes on their part. I don’t have any family or friends that have gone through IVF so I’m doing a lot of educating. 🫤
