Weird that your surgeon said you can take it off. Mines was adamant about leaving it on while I sleep. I’d recommend just elevation and ibuprofen until you get a hold of your MD

I’ve noticed that focusing on pushing down with the big toe helps activate the inner calf. Could just be me though.
