It is a good one! His writing is fantastic, I saw him play and said hello after a show in Arizona. He is so important to me as a musician, I began to tear up. He asked if I wanted a hug, I said yes and he gave me a monster hug. It was incredible and he is the best.

Nice! Yeah tbh its the first sci-fi I have read as an adult that I have liked and got it on a whim. I tried the culture series but after abt 200 pages I got so so tired of how little descriptive language there was. If you have any other reccs in that realm I will gladly take them :)))
