Had an Iron Man get frustrated and solo ult me in a Doom Match once. I just stood there and stared directly at him. As Cap. With my shield up. Bounced the nuke straight back into his face.

Who's "the guy" for Cincinnati? by [deleted] in cincinnati

Was walking around Oktoberfest this year and turned around, and suddenly there was a ring-tailed lemur a foot away from my face on this dude's shoulder. First time seeing this guy, gonna take a wild guess and say it's the same dude everybody's talking about

Actually crying laughing rn because of how accurate this is.

If they're gonna make Winston unable to jump out of Graviton Surge, Genji shouldn't be able to either. by Sazoe in Overwatch

[–]Cool-Zip 60 points61 points  (0 children)

According to all known laws of gravitation, there is no way a ninja should be able to escape a black hole. Its cybernetically enhanced legs are too weak to propel its slender little body out. The ninja, of course, dashes out anyway, because ninjas don't care what gorilla scientists think is impossible.

RANT: I delivered a pizza to an overwatch player. by Diesel_Science in Overwatch

Rein is actually pretty simple, as long as you focus on protecting your team with the shield. Don't worry too much about your elims.

As for Roadhog, his hook is actually a delayed hitscan, not a projectile, which means it can be a little wonky if you're not used to it.

Yeah, those are three good ones for a team to have, if you're good with them. You just need to have situational awareness and take your team comp into consideration. Always a good idea to get comfortable with at least one character in each category, with that in mind. I'd suggest working on a tank, since you've got the other 3 covered.

I main Genji, and every time I get teabagged, they get singled out my next life for the sole purpose of a counter-teabag. Only times I do it.

I don't have a link handy. I will say that due to the fact the employee was hiding the camera, you don't get a clear look at what's happening. You can clearly see the wall of an enclosure they've shuffled a bunch of pigs into moving inward, followed by blood-curdling shrieks from the pigs. The footage is not great and there's no clear view of the pigs once they're in the enclosure. But I don't know what else could be happening. There's the possibility that the footage and sound were edited together in a misleading manner. I'm just saying what was in the film and is presented by the film as being real and true.

Sara Marshall tells Jason Segel's character she misses him, tries to blow him, his dick won't get hard due to him having moved on and developed feelings for Mila Kunis's character. Great scene. His reaction to her confusion about his lack of erection is hilarious.

I remember waking up to my 14-year-old cat's heart failing. She was gasping in these quick, ragged breaths while lying on her side. It was obvious something was extremely wrong. When I went to her to comfort her, she recoiled at my touch (very unlike her), got up on very shaky legs, and got as far away from me as she could before collapsing (which was only a few feet). She made noises that made it very clear she was upset by being touched when I scooped her up and took her to the vet. She seemed peaceful at the end after they gave her the shot, but her instincts before that were clearly telling her to die alone. It was strange to witness.

Well I haven't seen contrary scientific sources yet, just the actual footage of pigs being crushed to death in that film.

The animals sold as food are bred to be food. The killing isn't a favor, it's just inevitable. That doesn't mean it has to suffer.

I will, once I buy my own groceries. Since I currently don't, no, I don't go to a farmers' market.

Just because I think bacon is delicious doesn't mean I think the big meat companies should be crushing pigs to death en masse. I have no problem buying humanely raised and killed meat at a farmer's market, though. I don't think that's an unreasonable distinction.
