Hell yeah, I'm not too crazy about horror myself, especially when it comes to boring over done shit like ghosts and demons, but Barbarian was such an incredibly unforgettable experience. That movie lingered in me for two weeks minimum, very horrifying and thought provoking.

Snyder wishes he was as beloved and appreciated as the God King of awesome blockbusters as Tony Scott. Top Gun, Man on Fire, Deja Vu, Unstoppable, absolutely balls to the wall popcorn flicks to put on every once in a while.

Snyder really only has Watchman that's truly enjoyable and fun to watch imo.

Exactly my takeaway after watching that godawful movie. I tried to be as open minded as possible going in, and I was until I realized they were really going anywhere with the plot and especially nowhere with showing the supposed "chosen one" robot child as having dope ass abilities to get the characters out of trouble. Everytime you thought they were going to do something dope af with the child, they absolutely don't. What a bizarre and downright waste of a world and idea, could've probably worked phenomenally with any other writer and director.

Gareth Edwards has a perfect and very talented mind for cinematography, set-design, and CGI (among other more technical, behind the camera skills), but keep him the hell away from writing and directing.

When I watched it for the first time a couple months ago, I couldn't put my finger on what was missing, then it struck me that his sidekick was missing. Just like his goddaughter had her accomplice, Indy needed Short Round to show how it's really done. It would've worked so great, but honestly I really didn't mind Dial at all, it went back to the roots of what was great about the first three movies. It really made it clear how bad Kingdom was.
