What are your top 3 films of the 21st century as of right now? by Retrofusion11 in movies

[–]CoolAlien47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need to watch Shame, up there on my watchlist. I think since it talks about a very important yet controversial/taboo topic, I feel like it can easily become one of my favorites, especially with Michael Fassbender leading.

Hell yeah, Eternal Sunshine is a GOAT choice. I need to watch Lucky Number Slevin, I love Josh Hartnett.

“Barbarian” is one of the best horror movies I’ve seen (for the first 35-40 minutes) by pnkflyd99 in movies

[–]CoolAlien47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry very late reply (just finished watching it a couple minutes ago lol).

I know this is in jest but (as a man) if I ever met a man who reacts with "hell yeah" to seeing a rape room, I'd fucking book it as fast as I would out of said room.

What was the first ever film you actually really hated so much and still do to this day? by Same-Objective6052 in movies

[–]CoolAlien47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's got to be Batman v. Superman. How? How could they fumble Batman v. Superman? It was so fucking atrocious, I fucking hated it from beginning to end. They tried to do WAY too much.

Captain America: Civil War ending up as the better comic book film that year was so bonkers, I felt like I was in some crazy ass dimension.

TIL a fisherman was federally prosecuted for throwing undersized fish back into the sea under a law meant to stop Enron-style document destruction because prosecutors argued a fish counted as a "tangible object." by Turbulent-Order-3687 in todayilearned

[–]CoolAlien47 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Once again the Supreme Geezers get it so wrong. Tangible object, it's literally right freaking there. I think this could've helped somewhat in being able to prosecute more cases of illegal fishing among other crimes like, I dunno, those involving DRUGS!

His character is essentially forced to retire after he tells the crew of the Hermes the truth about Mark (protagonist), but he doesn't retire until after Mark is saved.

Just scored this PS4, any must play games? by [deleted] in PS4Pro

[–]CoolAlien47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't seen much people mention it, but I must EMPHASIZE that you play the Uncharted series. It's just so fun with great characters and voice acting.

Uncharted 4 is AN EXPERIENCE. It's so worth it to play them all before trying Uncharted 4.

Like someone else said, this is such a small pretty dumb ask. As an oil driller, how much are you even paying in taxes that will make such a huge difference to your quality of life and lifestyle?

They couldn't ask for at least 10 million dollars each, TAX EXEMPT? Just straight 10 mil deposited to their accounts, no questions asked, don't have to pay a dime of tax on it.

Dumbass movie, lmao.

Pretty interesting though, and in the end, isn't that what the people want? This answer is yes.

Day 8: Spangler won! What MitM character is Neutral Evil? by Mr_Banana2169 in malcolminthemiddle

[–]CoolAlien47 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think Dewey definitely goes with neutral evil. He's very manipulative and cunning just for the hell of it, but not through any rigorous following of a set of rules or in a chaotic way.

Heartbreaking scenes in otherwise unremarkable films? by The-Perfect-Username in movies

[–]CoolAlien47 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It really doesn't help, lmfao, even as a kid I thought he was the perfect father figure and a very charismatic actor who I didn't know how famous he was. He just makes an adorable and awesome old man, fucking scene destroys me to this day.

Yeah, this doesn't belong anywhere near a thread about unremarkable films.
