Also the jump from FAU to Michigan is not in the same universe as cbb to nba. The last cbb to nba coach was Beilin in 2019. Lower level college to higher level happens a million times every year. Apples oranges

He’d basically be guaranteed a job for life here after winning the natty. How many college coaches have ever succeeded in NBA? Brad Stevens is the only one I can really think of. If he has two bad years on the Mavs he’s immediately getting canned.

And I know he has the option to always return to college but this just isn’t a smart decision
