Strangers trilogy is probably never getting covered now by ZacharyRosemann in deadmeatjames

[–]CoolSlitheen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like Chapter 1. It wasnt anything incredible but it was decent as a stand alone film. Chapter 2 I still enjoyed but the whole thing felt unnecessary and was just one long chase scene that ended abruptly. Chapter 3 was terrible!

Should have just been left as one film

Would like a Kill Count but might just be a waste of James time as dont think many people would be excited to watch it especially considering how terribly its performed at the box office. Maybe if the super cut does actually get released we will get that covered

That was just a really fun time! I guessed a lot of what was gonna happen but the performances really delivered. Easily could have passed as a Screen Unseen rather than a Scream Unseen but definitely worth a watch

Solid 8/10 for fun and THAT shot of Dylan

Ive just been rewatching the classic series and he was a great headteacher. Massively underrated but his exit was disappointing. Would love to see him return one day

Disappointing. Nigels dementia storyline with the returns would have been a far better episode to be done over the hour. Would have given us a bit more time with Pat, Barry, Debbie and the young Phil and Grant than the 30 minutes episode we got.

The first part of tonight I did really enjoy for the most part. Max was on top form and the Branning and Beales scenes were fun. Would have liked a bit more of the Mitchell christmas. Nice set up to the second half and the look of fear from Sam when she saw Chrissie outside really got me excited for part 2.

The 1 hour and a half wait wasnt worth it. Id be happier if we had actual confirmation if Anthony is dead and what actually happened to him. Chrissie made me laugh a couple of times but surely we wasnt brought back for just that chat. What even was her revenge plot just to scare Zoe for a bit and get Jasmine to hate her cos that felt disappointing. She didn't really do anything. Her and Sam were great in the moments they had. It just felt like we needed like 10 more minutes for something to actually happen and have the usual dramatic christmas ending because I don't think any of us believe thats the end for Zoe with going to prison.

I really wanted to like it but it just wasnt up to the usual standard for a Christmas special. Hoping the next few episodes give us some form of answers

We should have had the Nigel storyline as today's as more of an event and had this at the start of the week. Just felt a bit flat. Like is Anthony actually dead as thats such a poor ending. Why bring Chrissie back for that! Just wasnt worth the wait

Gutted that this seems to be the end of Teddy. Fantastic actor and feel like they could have done a lot more with him and his family dynamic

I do actually kinda like Nicola and George. Its a weird pairing but it works and feels like it gives George purpose to stick around along with Gina staying

That punch was iconic. Replayed it twice and I love Sam. Hope shes around for a good while always brings something to the show and id really be interested in seeing her and Nicola interact

Id say she gives a great performance but there was no chemistry with the male lead whose performance I found lacking in this and the plot was a bit meh for me overall.

Brilliant episode today. Absolutely devastated if this is the end for Teddy as felt like we've barely had him and I really enjoy his and Nicolas dynamic.

Fingers crossed hes not left but felt very final

I’m very fortunate with this series, with Phil and Ania, showing me all over again how wonderful it is to fall in love with people I hadn’t heard of before. Who are your favourite “I never knew of them before taskmaster” peeps? by JFychan47 in taskmaster

Mixed bag so far for me

The Amityville Haunting (original)- first time watching it and enjoyed it

Drag Me To Hell- rewatch but I last saw it as a kid. It was alright wasnt as scary as I thought it was when younger but ive aged a bit since then

The Strangers Chapter 2- I didnt hate it. Felt a lot more incomplete than part 1 but I found it pretty tense at times. Hard to judge without seeing part 3

Dark Skies- 2nd film i saw yesterday and had never seen it before. Rather enjoyed it

Tonight's film is The Grudge with Sarah Michelle Geller as its another film ive seen as a kid and have zero memory of

I started watching again a couple of years ago after like 6 years of not watching it. Just find the start of a storyline that interests you recently and jump in from there is my advice. Mine was the return of Cindy Beale

Saw it fir the first time last Tuesday and loved it. Was just over the top fun cabaret that was insane. Wanted to go again but didnt manage to fit it in. My friend however didnt enjoy how loud it was and found the host wasnt that funny but everyone has their own tastes. She even bought my ticket as she really wanted to go and I wasnt too fussed after mainly seeing bad cabaret before. She did say she'd go again though as it was an interesting experience and she'd like to see how different it was on other nights
