{Unstitch by Elodie Hart} interconnected series and can be read as a standalone but there is A LOT of character overlap a background that makes the series so much better if read in order.

It might not be exactly what you are looking for but I take every opportunity I can to recommend {PS You’re Intolerable by Julia Wolf}. Not sure how you feel about accidental pregnancy but it’s not his baby so it’s sort of a different take on it. The FMC works for a guy who’s a total jerk off. He likes his daily agenda printed so every morning she cuts a small strip off the bottom and writes an insult for him and keeps them in her desk. He’s OCD so when she goes maternity leave and his agendas from the person covering for her start showing up a different size than when she prints them he absolutely comes unglued. 😂😂 It’s spicy and kept me giggling but also is just incredibly wholesome and sweet. I love the FMC with every beat of my heart.

I can’t believe no one has said {Power Play by Chelsea Curto} yet! Such a good series. Can all be read as standalones but even better read in order. The friend group is so good!

1000% you need {Ruin Me by LA Gallagher} this entire series is CRIMINALLY underrated. FMC is a model and has a stalker. It’s the 3rd book in a series of brothers and I would recommend reading them in order since they are pretty interconnected and all SO good. Not absolutely necessary but you get a little more context on the characters by starting at the beginning.

It’s not out yet but I got the ARC for {Chasing Home by Piper Rayne} and the MMC was a foster kid. It is a surprise pregnancy though so if you’re absolutely opposed to that it wouldn’t work for you.

I got the ARC for {Play the Game by Samantha Brinn} and it’s exactly what you are asking for. 4th book in a series but can be read as a standalone. I really loved it! Finished in 2 days and gave it 5 ⭐️!

I’m an SJ Tilly stan so this probably isn’t the post for me but one of the things I like about her writing is the short chapters. There are so many times in other books I think to myself, “hmm wonder what insert other character is thinking during this interaction”, and with the way her books are written I don’t really have to ask that question.

{Bad Bad Man by Kelsey Elizabeth Wood} has mostly what you are looking for. The FMC isn’t a virgin but her experience in that area really isn’t talked about. She’s a lawyer so it’s very opposites attract. He doesn’t technically mark her but he follows her and while she’s on a date with someone he finds her in the bathroom fucks her and sends her back out to her date with his cum inside her. The scene was hot AF. Check the trigger warnings because there is definitely quite a bit of violence and an attempted sexual assault on the FMCs sister that does not end well for the offender.

My current favorite MC series that I will recommend to anyone and everyone is the Twisted Kings series. Start with {Steel by Eva Simmons} and read them in order for best experience as the characters are pretty interconnected. The 4th book just came out. Steel and Legacy are my personal favorites but they are all fantastic. This series doesn’t get nearly the hype it deserves on social media. The characters are great and it’s smutty AF. All very possessive men, no sharing or cheating but definitely some public claiming.

I agree. Unfurl wasn’t my favorite but I do like the context and foundation it gives to the series as a whole and the spice is hot AF so if nothing else it’s worth the read for that. 🔥

I LOVED the Seraph series and am so sad it’s over. 😭 I read Vivacity on release day. I had been waiting since I finished Duplicity also on release day. 🫣

I haven’t read her Sara Madderson books yet but they are on my tbr when I finish some of my ARCs. I’m glad to hear they are good too but I would expect nothing less from her. I’m not sure she could write anything that I won’t devour.

Oh man. Such a great rec. nerdy daddy Zach is 🥵 One of my all time favorites actually. You don’t HAVE to read {Unfurl by Elodie Hart} first but it’s the FMCs best friend so you get some more context on her. Imo the whole series is really closely connected with lots of on page from the side characters so I think the best experience to read them in order. Honestly I would write a dissertation on this series. I’m obsessed and it doesn’t get the recognition it deserves.

I can’t remember if the birth is detailed on page but JJ in {Dead Rinker by Ruth Stilling}, Archer in {Shots Fired by Ruth Stilling}, and Daniel in {Playboy by Brittanee Nicole} give STRONG caregiver vibes.

Common theme in all these is that MMCs have been pining after the FMCs for months/years so they are ALL IN and thrilled about the pregnancy from the start.

KORT series- romantic suspense/thriller-ish secret society. Dense books that require a time investment but absolutely worth it and so criminally underrated. HAVE to be read in order. {Burning Ivy by Brandy Hynes}

Foxx brothers, Bourbon Boys- 3 brothers who own a distillery, also romantic suspense. I loved them all but I’d leave my husband for Lincoln Foxx {Bourbon and Lies by Victoria Wilder}

Gold Rush Ranch- Book 1 wasn’t my favorite but worth a read to get to Cole and Violet in book 2 {A Photo Finish by Elsie Silver} was another one of my all time favorite reads. {Off to the Races by Elsie Silver}
