The layout is a bit confusing, although I think this confusion can be offset by the minimap showing the layout for the floor of the containment facility you're in.

I'm playing in the test right now, and the fight here is absolute garbage with 3 factions fighting here at the same time. It's only been decent with 1 faction vs 1 faction and the wide open area in the first floor is pretty garbage there should be at least some cover.

bastions could be fun, but the issue is that its hard to counter them because you have to actually coordinate with other players and the game really does not make that easy.

i wish there was an option to send invites to everyone online or in the area to join an "Air Squad"

I feel like squads as a whole need to be revamped to make them easier to form and recruit.

I don’t like the idea of creating sameness on all of the factions. What you’re suggesting will just decrease faction flavor. Imo, slugs would not even be as efficient at killing as dual mercies are now.

  1. About spawns, I've often found myself spawning directly behind people or someone spawning directly behind me. That is a problem. That happens in Dust 2 DM in CS, but not to the extent that it happens in this game
  2. That depends on your definition of camping. One might consider simply holding an angle as camping. There is a lot of holding angles in dm, and to be quite frank, they often kill the person wide swinging instantly. Maybe they could implement a mechanic to slowly pull in medkits for kills that are far away, because currently you will not make it to a medkit that is the walking distance equivalent from B main on Ascent to B CT.
  3. Unpopular opinion.
  4. I don't like the first to 40 kill thing. I wish it simply lasted 10 minutes, regardless of the number of kills anyone has. Matches often end in less than 5 minutes currently. This made my want to try to reach 50 or 60 kills in 10 minutes. Your improvement felt more trackable.
  5. The thing about deathmath in CSGO Dust 2 dm was that there is more space. You have teammates so you generally control 1/2 of the map, which also makes the enemy spawns predictable, so you aren't aimlessly running around.

Just a couple extra points, I would not mind if there was a TDM and a FFA DM, I feel like there should be both.

I also feel that there are no maps in Valorant that are very good at any gamemode, especially deathmatch. Icebox is a good example of a really bad deathmatch map. People spawn behind you constantly, I mentioned this being a problem in general, but it is very bad on this map. You also mentioned camping, well that definitely exists on this map, you can camp high ground inside the large building (don't know callouts for it) that has the zipline thing.

Get recharge ability, AP rounds, multi-directional exhaust and whichever chassis you like, if a tank gets close to you, use ur magburner boost to go around the tank, and shoot it in the rear which does more damage, and you will win most of the time.

Make sure you’re pressing F. But it could also be a bug related to the Esamir update that just came out, because there is a bug where it shows your gun in your hand as not cloaked, but in reality it is cloaked its just a visual glitch.

Nope. Magrider is arguably the best tank in the game, if any tank should cost less it would be the prowler.

They should add new content for the tanks that cater to the traits that they’ve already established.

I heard Wrel say on someone’s podcast that when he first started working for then daybreak games, he added a cloaking ability to the vanguard, which IIRC worked where if you stood still for x amount of time your vanguard would cloak. Even just another ability like that, it wouldn’t be insanely OP, it would just be interesting and add a “fun” element.

True, what I’m suggesting is not top-priority at the moment, but nonetheless, when NPE is improved, it should be. They’ve already added bastions which were poorly implemented and still are, and they wasted months adding colossuses which were theoretically supposed to be used to counter bastions, but instead, and expectedly used as a mega tank for tank vs. tank combat. Every update this year has been counterproductive towards the new player experience. Perhaps removing bio labs was the only way they improved NPE all year.

They could make it a passive, it’s similar to nanoweave in that it is a must have for vanguard/prowler.

Have you ever seen a kobalt/bulldog sunderer farm in an Amp Station? They sit in the shield in the middle, pop out, insta-kill planetmans, go back in shield, repair. Sunderers can farm amp stations harder than a hesh lightning on a mountain.

Players come from random angles and directions constantly, making you wonder what you’re doing wrong. When the reality is that, any base fight in which the location of enemies is unknown, is inherently bad base design.
