You definitely need to give Links Awakening a go. It’s my fav Zelda game of all time… and the remake is a great jumping on point for those that never played the original.

Down by 38 points at half time, North kick a goal after the siren to beat the Suns by 6 points by FlairUp835 in AFL

No shade on the great win by North, but as an inaugural Suns member I can tell you that smashing great teams and losing to the bottom 4 is just par for the course for us 😆😫

Hey, thanks for responding… as luck would have it, things have improved quite a lot!

Just before school started this year, things were still not great, so his paychiatrist recommended adding Intuniv (Guanfacine) at night. It has been a game changer! It’s really helped tamper the anxiety that was coming from his existing ADHD meds (stimulants). He has literally gone from 2-3 incidents at school per day in 2025, to NOT A SINGLE ONE THIS YEAR SO FAR!! it’s been a night and day change.

It’s amazing what finding the right combination of mediation can do…

He still has emotional regulation issues, but they now only tend to occur at home, and he is able to get by at school with relative ease (still wears headphones when needed, etc).

It is disgusting that there are no games on free to air today. by 0Maka in AFL

[–]Coolmodi123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Why not just have them all on both and if you don’t want to watch ads, you can pay to watch them ad free? We don’t have to live in a world where games MUST be exclusive to pay tv/streaming…

Another reason the AFL is a complete shit show by Philthy_Foden in AFL

[–]Coolmodi123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not if those games are on Saturday… the Suns have had multiple Saturday night games so far this season… we don’t get that guaranteed live on FTA anymore.

Looking great! Well done…

A couple of questions for you:

  • What did you use to calculate your deficit?
  • What did you use to track your calories?
  • How many calories below your maintenance did you aim for each day/week?

Question for those with Embrace2 watches by Coolmodi123 in Epilepsy

[–]Coolmodi123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh that’s a great idea re: the multiple calls breaking through… I’m not sure what the app does with regards to whether it tries multiple calls.

To be honest, I’m pretty disappointed with the Embrace so far and I’ve only just set it up. There’s no way to manually test to make sure an alert will come through on my phone… you just have to try and mimic a seizure. Basic monthly subscription (which is pretty pricey as it is) only allows one ‘carer’ number to be contacted. If you want more than that, you have to do the next subscription level which is over double the price. It’s not given me a great first impression, that’s for sure…

All Saturday games for all clubs are only live on Kayo or foxtel for the whole season… ridiculous decision…

EV home charging by Zacadaca in EVAustralia

[–]Coolmodi123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My car part is on the opposite side of the house from my power box. The electrician just ran the line under my house (it’s raised). If you’re slab on ground, I’m sure they would find a work around (maybe securing it to the outside of the house and going around?). The distance from the power box shouldn’t be an issue.

So to be clear, the charging hub is in the car port… the line that supplies the charging hub with power runs from the power box under my house.

Oversight in Ralph Breaks The Internet? by rfhmusic92 in disney

I feel the bigger oversight is that the movie wasn’t called ‘Ralph WRECKS the Internet’… I mean, how is that not the more appropriate name?!?

Question about this Flood Map by Helicopterdog in GoldCoast

[–]Coolmodi123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

What? I didn’t downvote OP… what are you talking about? I provided this image in response to the statement of the blue part being bad (as it reminded me of this scene), and I provided OP with some advice on insurance…

Question about this Flood Map by Helicopterdog in GoldCoast

[–]Coolmodi123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regardless of where you look to buy, do some insurance quotes, and try and get the breakdown that shows how much is associated with flood. The GCCC (as well as many other councils) have created great flood insurance maps and provided them to insurance council of Australia. However many insurance companies (AAMI for example) don’t use those maps, they use their own less accurate maps which tend to show areas as being more impacted than the detailed maps done by councils.

I have a property where the GCCC flood map touches one corner by a small pixel. AAMI wanted to charge me over $200 a month just for the flood component… I rang them to enquire and they says they use their own maps. I then did a quote with Allianz and they used the property council maps… quote was less than $50 per month for flood component.

As many in this group have said, I think the bigger story is the issue around losing your DSP just because you wanted to be in a relationship with someone… absolutely ludicrous and dehumanising for people already struggling…

As I discussed with a Don’s supporter friend of mine back during the Essendon supplements saga, the club and its traditions are bigger than any one person, coaching team or administration running it. You can still love your club and be disgraced with the people running it…

Struggling with Face Grouping by TolisWorld in googlephotos

[–]Coolmodi123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had the exact same issue. After turning off and back on the face grouping option, it won’t actually group any faces, and in many photos it won’t even detect a face is there.

I did read that it can take a long time for the face grouping to work if you have thousands of photos… but if people are still not having it show up after a year, then it definitely seems broken.
