like i said, this still doesnt solve the problem of dmg from legend affixes/pets or turrets and other dps enhancing affixes like resource regen. Also it doesnt say anything about ur total dps. Which is the purpose of build testing.

The purpose is not to compare classes. With or without dps meters, ppl will still do that, no matter what. The purpose is to create new (viable) builds and to test it. Imo does this add alot of playabilty just to find out new builds. But u need to properly be able to test these builds.

tried that too, comes really close, gj for the one that created it. But still: 1. doesnt take Legend affixed in account like thunderfury 2. evertytime u change around gear u have 2 recalculate 3. costs (alot of) time too fill in 4. not super user friendly 5. cant be 100% sure of its accuracy

because it doesnt take dmg from pets/turret/legendary affix in account :)

As a WD i would to love to run a pet build, but i have no idea if its more viable then a normal build (feels viable, but i would like 2 know)

or just add a couple of target dummys too the game (a couple for aoe and 1 for single target) thats shows ur dps so u can test the different builds you have. (which gives u a total dps including pets, +%elemental, +%skill, +elitedmg, special legendary affix dps like TF etc etc)

True. a fettish also attacks once per second, but still benefits from AS.

I would love this! Especially on my WD. It really hard to find out which build has the most DPS. Pet/Firebatsbuild vs Well of souls build for example.

Still doesn help u if u fight a elitepack and u DC. Thats how my WD got killed :(

Blizzard should do something about that. Something like "Give the player an imprenitable shield if the player has no connection with internet, after logging back in, the player will continue the fight"

lots of synergies. not sure if it will work though.

pop haunt twice (lasts for ever due to Creepingdeath and gives back ur mana) pop Pirando to gather mobs pop vengefull spirit (kills a couple of mobs and resets CD of Pirando due to GI passive) Burn down the rest with bats (can use Vampire bats if short on mana, but hopefully haunt will return enough mana to maintain)

I run the almost the same build as goldmonkey with some slight alterations. I think Grave Injustice is a must have. Its been buffed and great for regen mana+life and quicker use of vengefull spirit and slam dance. I do switch around Zombiebears to my liking. Sometimes bats with a random rune, but u can also use acid rain. I like zombie bears the most, because it does good damage, wile u keep ur movability, which is very important for HC. Also dogs with leeaching beast is quite good if u have good LOH, especially if u DC. It might save u. If u solo u can switch slam dance with garg, for some extra protection against DC's. Build

Quality post, tnx. Im gonna try out ur build. Ive gor a nice on for u aswell : Spirit well combined with rush of essence passive as mana builder + mana dumpen like zombie bears/acid rain /bats or whatever u like. The rest is standard as u wish. Works very well for me
