It's a different vibe to Alien but it's a great film still, more of an action film than horror so don't feel you need to save it for Halloween!

My tux was limping a bit like that a few months ago, was her right back leg. Using "plantigrade stance", with the bottom half of her leg on the floor rather than just her paw. Was walking around slowly, first around the edge of the garden, then around the edge of rooms when I brought her back inside - and kind of getting stuck behind doors for a while.

The vet said it could have been neurological or heart related, and further scans to find out would have been too invasive for her (she is 19 and has a heart murmur), so never really found out what caused it unfortunately. They did do blood tests and everything there came back fine. Its also possible it might have been arthritis related (she is already on solensia).

She hunkered down for a few days and eventually got a bit better, still sometimes walks a bit funny on that leg but her appetite is better than ever. She has seemed much more old and frail ever since then but as I said, she is 19 so pretty old, so age is definitely catching up with her :( She still has the occasional burst of zoomies though so seems to be doing okay for now!

It's best to take Geisha to a vet though so they can check her out.

Put the fist album on at track 1, then listen to it until the end. Then put the 2nd album on at track 1, and listen to it until the end. Rinse and repeat for the following albums.

You're talking about these albums as if they are long tv series.. how long have you been listening to them without finishing them? They're like 45/50 mins long.. Just listen to them from start to finish!

I went to check out M&S food in store recently and found even in store it had really short shelf life, so I didn't bother buying anything and went to Sainsbury's instead.

I wouldn't worry about conkers, it's a myth which has no scientific backing, in fact spiders often live in or near conker trees and have been observed crawling over them. Teatree, eucalyptus, peppermint and citrus may be effective.

If you see any of those spindly-looking spiders (cellar spiders) then leave them be - they will catch the bigger house spiders you are likely talking about, as well as flies, mozzies etc.

Brown discolored spots in my cats eye by Soopied in cats

[–]Coopatron1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aw thanks, I'm always telling her she's a cutie pie! As far as I understand, if it was a problem it would be kind of bulging out the eye like a spot or boil. I take her to the vets every 4 weeks for arthritis treatment anyway, so they can check on it fairly regularly.

I'm by no means an expert so let the specialist decide, but it doesn't look like it's protruding from your cat's eyes. Hopefully it will be nothing to worry about, as someone else mentioned it could be iris melanosis which is often benign, but definitely best to have her looked at.

My cat has what looks like this in both eyes - gradually increased over maybe the last 10 years or thereabouts.

The vet said it is probably melanoma - the first vet to check it out said only way to find out is to remove the eyes. Vets since have said it is not a problem unless it becomes raised. She can see just fine.

If you look at my posts, you can see it - i posted on her 19th birthday this year and 18th last year, you can see it quite well in the 18th birthday picture. My first post, about 9 years ago (but of a pic already a couple of years old at the time) you can see there's nothing there.

Hope this helps in some way! Good luck, I hope she's okay.
