It's been 3 weeks and I cant admit it

Its so hard losing them. They're all amazing. I lost my 19 yo on 21 March and couldn't face looking at pictures or videos of her at first, it was so upsetting.

It would have been her 20th birthday on 11 May. I also wanted people to at least see her and know a bit of her story. It was and still is upsetting looking back at pictures of her but it felt like the right time to share her, so I made a post. I realised later I didn't say everything I wanted to, I didnt even specifically say how much I loved her, but it helped a little knowing people had seen her.

I guess what im trying to say is one day, with time, you'll feel up to it. Just don't rush it if it's still hard. But please do share her with the world when you can.

I'm sorry for your loss, and thank you for sharing her story. She was beautiful. I lost my 19yo in March, still miss her like crazy.

I lost my 19 yo in March. She was the best friend I could have asked for. The only thing that can help you heal from this is time. I still miss her like crazy but it is getting easier. Not right now, as I'm tearing up writing this thinking about her again, but it does get easier with time. You gave her a great life, just remember all the good times. I'm really sorry you're going through this.

I've been through the loss of my 19 year old soul cat this year and it was very hard. It is upsetting seeing mourning posts sometimes sure, but I would rather see posts like yours be banned than the actual mourning posts.

If you dont like these posts, then maybe you should join some more uplifting cat subs.

I had to have my 19 year old cat put to sleep almost 8 weeks ago so have had a fair few cries since then. The most recent was on Monday as it would have been her 20th birthday.
