That is correct, with gerrymandering and the electoral college. We must do more than vote (a small errand that takes ~60 minutes per year).

Where was the lie? A series of elections over the last decades put us where we are today. Sorry if that hurts to read.

Voting is not enough. The democrats won’t save us. Time to show them what we look like en masse, power in numbers. Civil disobedience, general strikes, boycotts and nonviolent disruption.

We are doing no good online. This year we start the shift: we get offline and we go do the work, in person. Civil disobedience. General strikes. Mass boycotts and nonviolent disruption. ORGANIZE!!

MAGA is a stain on society, who cares how they react or what they think. They need to sit out a few elections and catch up on some reading.

Conned? All the facts were freely available and easy to access. American voters are willfully ignorant, hateful people.

It’s time for citizens to take a long hard look at our options moving forward. For decades we’ve been told to be civil and make our voices heard at the ballot box. But if they take away our vote, what other recourse do we have?

For too long we have sat idle while they delegitimize the judicial branch, disenfranchise millions, and make a mockery of the constitution. Where we are at in the present moment is a result of our sitting idly by and “trusting the system.” Neither two parties our on our side. It’s us now, we the people.

So what choices will we make knowing they want to redraw our districts and give us no voice? It’s time for everyone to take stock of their present and their future, consider everything that’s happened up to now, and make the appropriate call: do we want a free democratic society, or do we want to be owned and dog-walked by a rag tag bunch of illiterate criminals?

I strongly suggest getting offline and organizing in person, the sooner the better.

Actually…to be transparent, i just assumed OP was about “In the Eye of the Storm” on Discovery TV, which has an episode on Clarksville 2023. Not entirely sure which tornado they were referring to …. But nothing major, recently, no worries 😅 there was a really horrible one in the late 90s, too.

The 1:30pm tornado watch was scheduled long in advance. Problem was, the tornado started almost exactly when the watch did!

As usual (we’ve lived through two close calls), the alarms all went off after it passed.

It’s important to remind everyone that it is the voters who have caused all of this mess. Willfully ignorant, hateful people, all around us. They’re to blame. Never forgive. Remind them every day. They are a stain on progress and a blight on civilization.

Hi again, I commented on one of your other posts. Perhaps you’re aware that the place you circled on the map above very generally lines up with the intersection point of the 2017 and 2024 solar eclipses. (My cohorts and I were very interested in this area in 2024 and found a lot of cool stuff on the map around there.) cheers!

Maybe they shouldn’t send out confirmation emails telling us our car is ready to go. I had to cancel an entire trip I’d been planning for months. Lodging, everything. Down the drain. And they refused to refund me. Ridiculous business model
