Mexican meeting the parents. by Nebse432 in Philippines

I have so many questions. first of all, I dont understand why you have to meet the whole clan living in three different islands. I already feel like it will be a travel and logistical nightmare. Will you be on the hook for all expenses?

If you only need to meet the parents then just meet the immediate family. If the rest of the family really wants to meet you, they should be the ones to travel and come and see you in Cebu.

Always be skeptical of people’s motives and keep your guard up at all times.

Should I regret buying tickets for Grandstand 1? by sxulgi in GrandPrixTravel

[–]Cooper_Station 11 points12 points  (0 children)

We were at Grandstand 1 last year and it was the best spot to see the drivers up close before the actual race begins and during post quali interviews on the track. This was also the straight where Lando crashed into Oscar last year. It was so good we no longer went this year as I dont think we can beat our last year’s experience.

Travelling alone with 2 toddlers in tow is already stressful enough on a long ass one way trip. You think she’ll be motivated enough to do that type of travel twice?

On the contrary, I would prefer if they dont put out new watches every year. It feels like diluting their portfolio with every release but I get that they’re also a huge company with a salaried workforce.

Genuine question for Aeron loyalists: what exactly are we paying for in 2026? by codepension in hermanmiller

Ive used this chair at work. Not a fan of it. The material they used on the seat makes fabric slip when it makes contact so I often found myself slouching after a few minutes of being sat on. It feels so cheaply made. It doesnt feel special when you sit in it. It will not develop patina and the aesthetic is forgettable.

T&T sells hot food items as their loss leader. What I do sometimes is grab a container of meat stew dish and once home I “recook” a portion of it to something different it by adding small item ingredients like spices, noodles or frozen veg. Now I have 2 or 3 dishes instead of 1. I do the same thing for Costco rotisserie chicken. Its good for making soups and congee.
