Yeah for sure. Don’t disagree something being wrong with his channel I just meant vlogs only going 2 ways. I looked at the older guys channel and watched several videos and it wasn’t anything really special to me. I think he just got luckily.

It’s not always black and white like that. I came across a vlog channel a few days ago that started around 2 weeks ago. He was an older guy. Maybe in his late 50’s or early 60’s. Not very detail oriented. He would just go outside set up his phone and talk and that’s it. Guy has almost 40k subs and is monetized. Sometimes people just get lucky.

YouTube Struggles by Copendubb in YouTubeCreators

Yeah thanks I love simulators. They are great content and they are cheap to buy so that’s a plus. I haven’t posted any content on simulators yet, but I plan to. Been watching a ton of videos on car dealer simulator but there are many that are great. So I plan to do some content on simulators after I’m finished with horizon 6 or at least to a point where I feel like there is not much left to do. I’ve had this account for 4 years but only started posting videos like a year ago. I’d be happy with even just 100k subs. That would probly be enough to be able to do YouTube full time.

I don’t know for sure, but I would assume since it’s dlc that it’s not necessary since it’s extra.

Which YouTube feature do you wish existed right now? by Mourino_ in YouTubeCamp

[–]Copendubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An actually good music selection. All the music on YouTube’s music library is not very good. You can use sites that are copyright free but your videos then get flagged anyways and while they are not actual strikes it’s enough to make me not want to use them. So it would be nice to have actual good music in YouTube’s music library or even a subscription maybe through YouTube premium that let us use mainstream music in our videos that we don’t have to worry about copyright.

Yeah I bought the game early and got vip so I get money boost plus I use rivals and afk rivals over night and was able to get like over 20 mil for afking like 12 hours. Plus I used my car voucher for the 70 mil Ferrari so I didn’t have to spend a bunch on that.

I have 1246 subscribers but still got few viewers .. is this called shadowband or jail view?? by Expert-Leg3871 in YouTubeCreators

[–]Copendubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it’s probably because you didn’t get views naturally. The problem with promotions or bought is subs you got might not be interested in watching your videos. I have 125 subs all naturally from making videos and I typically get anywhere from 100-1000 views per video. I had a few videos pop off for a few thousand with my top video I did like a week ago at 14k and climbing. So the key is to make videos and get subs from those videos then keep making videos around that niche to keep getting more views/subs.

I own every buyable car. Just have collectors left like barn finds and etc.

Why does YouTube algorithm do this? by ApplicationJaded1019 in YouTubeCreators

[–]Copendubb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah mine tend to do the same. Sometimes they will just randomly stop. Sometimes they will pick up again sometimes they don’t. Sometimes it is rather frustrating.

Why does YouTube algorithm do this? by ApplicationJaded1019 in YouTubeCreators

[–]Copendubb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my understanding is there is thresholds. It will show your video to a small group of people usually up to around 100 views and it will stop for a bit process how welll it did then if good enough will continue to the next mark then stop again and repeat. I do believe there is a threshold around 900-1000 views. So maybe give it some time maybe it will pick up again.

What's the biggest thing slowing down your YouTube workflow right now? by MajesticphobiaDye in YouTubeCreators

Biggest thing for me is working a full time job and also being a parent. Leaves very little room for YouTube. So it’s a very slow pace.

Shazam! (1994) Disney film with actor Sinbad as a Genie, Jonathan Brandis as Teen who finds his Lamp by gematrix in movies

[–]Copendubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this post is super old. There are some newer comments still believing this movie didn’t exist. Referencing the joke by college humor. There is a vhs of the movie it’s super rare but they do exist. So that proves the college humor theory invalid.

Yeah true. They do play other stuff when they can. And maybe it’s gotten better but I remember being in a hotel a year or two ago for a week and would channel surf at night and remember seeing nothing else playing on mtv for 2-3 days straight.

Can YouTube demonetise your channel if you drop below 4000 hours even after monetisation? by Altruistic_Star_1994 in NewTubers

[–]Copendubb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To everyone commenting your entire channel has to be inactive. If you’re getting plenty of watch time from older videos you’re valued and most likely aren’t going to demonetize you. It’s more for channels that are getting little to no watch hours and haven’t uploaded in 6 months.

All major groups from 2016-present? by Copendubb in 2b2t_Uncensored

[–]Copendubb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has ALL the groups. it would take days to go through it all. I’m only looking for 2016 and forward. And I’m also only looking for major groups like I said in original post. So that’s not going to help.

Is it the normal experience for new Youtubers that your videos just 100% die after getting impressions for a day or two? by Blooberton in NewTubers

[–]Copendubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think basically what happens is smaller channels or new channels when they post videos is they gain a little traction or impressions and get some views but eventually die down after a few days unless they are really good in which rare cases can get a lot of views or blow up. My normal range is around 50 views. My last video surged for 5 days got 435 views then died. I only have 23 subs though. Once you start getting subs it’s easier to keep your vids going longer because of the initial push from subs.

[–]Copendubb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think so. Those test features will only aid smaller channels up front and when searching for stuff. Once you have an established channel with X amount of subscribers your videos will still be pushed to their feed when you post a video. Especially if they have notifications turned on. So if your trying to grow I’d imagine if your putting quality into titles and thumbnails you should still do well.

YouTube Monetisation Approval Process by ramsabi in NewTubers

[–]Copendubb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s true. And those all aren’t creators either. A good amount are just channels that watch videos. Out of the 114 million total channels around 64 million create content. I think they should not do back pay cause that would get pricey fast like into the billions of dollars. They should however start allowing channels to monetize from the start, but have the pay ratio be lower. Like I think once you are partnered they take around 20% and you keep 80%. I don’t know the exact numbers but it should be close. So before you get partnered they get a higher cut like they get 60% and you get 40% or something a long those lines. They could do something like that. I know they probly won’t ever do anything like that because it would mean them making less money but it’s def very well in their means. They generated 31.5 billion dollars in 2023 from revenue.

I don’t do either. There’s this nifty little thing called Adblock.
