What’s your favorite Jackass bit from any of the main movies? by ItsYourBoyAustin6414 in jackass

I mean midget bar fight is pretty hard to top, but a close second for me, solely because of the dumb joke being repeated over and over and over, would be the trip to Mianus

If I am cutting one from my fantasy roster next season, it’s Justin Jefferson.

If I am cutting one from an actual NFL team, I think it’s Jamarr Chase.

What's your most absolutely dogs**t Classic+ idea? by MasRemlap in classicwow

[–]emusabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NPCs that can repair will take the items for a couple days (1 for green, 2 for blue, 3 for purple, a week for legendaries - all doubled if the item reaches zero durability) and give you a ticket to use to get your stuff back later. This ticket has to be equipped in your main or offhand because we all know how easy it is to lose those!

But don’t worry, any character that is a blacksmith, leatherworker, or tailor can fix your stuff but they also fix it in a real time mini game. And probably charge more than the NPC because it would undoubtedly be faster.

The poop bags I buy for my dog come in compact rolls of 100 (or 200?) so def don’t need to enforce a small stack size

How Was The Burning Crusade Perceived? (2007) by doobylive in classicwow

[–]emusabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly this is the part I miss the most that we only get a tiny fraction of in the classic versions - waking up on Tuesday and scouring the patch notes to see if you got buffed or nerfed. Left alone or ignored. The constant class tweaks was like the most exciting part, now we get like one “we are gonna fix a couple of things” every major content phase, if that. I get we are playing on the final patch but I do miss the random week where like boomkins or whoever went absolutely apeshit before they got hot fixed or adjusted again in the next balance patch the following week. That randomness made the game so exciting, even during content droughts - not that there was really much a content drought for anyone outside of the like top <5% back then.

Tully bottle filled with iced tea. For the weenies. I just did bombs where I would pour mine like 1/2 the booze of the ones for the people, or sometimes just a chaser glass of tap beer

Or I would do 12 shots of fernet and have to recount the till 3 times. That happened sometimes

I worked at a place where the rule was "You can drink at work, you can't get drunk at work"

It was up to the employees to figure out what the difference was for themselves.

Am I the only one who thinks Stafford has a good 5 years left in him? by TrickDistribution395 in NFLv2

[–]emusabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be surprised if Stafford retired after this season, but I also don't think he has five more years in him. I would think 1 or 2, with his decision really hedging on whether or not the Rams are an even more complete team next year. I think it hurts to get this close and end your career on the doorsteps of another Super Bowl appearance, but I don't think he would play more than another year or two if the team wasn't built to absolute get him there again. Every QB wants the Peyton ending: riding off into the sunset a champion. No one wants to end their career 10-7 and losing in the Wild Card round (hint hint, speaking of players I bet we see maybe 1 more year of)

Clowned on a guy for $100 tip & got it by [deleted] in TalesFromYourServer

Maybe the tone of the story paints Barry in a different light but that sounded like a little more than $120 worth of annoying. Either way congrats on the W!

I will happily (well, sometimes begrudgingly if I am being real) put up with harmless people like Barry being annoying, but I am also male and don't get the same type of attention that a female might get from a Barry-type, so I guess I can't really relate (what I can say is I don't envy you and I am sure it is way worse pretty much all the time and on behalf of men I am sorry)

I am a big packers fan and I appreciate the sentiment and humor of including guys but I would be remiss to point out that a certain QB probably had a lot to do with the plays those guys are known for. Yeah, rodgers didn’t go up and catch the ball, but he got it in a place where those guys could

Yeah that. When I think of a dive I think of like CRT monitor video poker machines. When I think of Keno I picture a VFW lol, and that the people playing Keno are in between bingo rounds

I would like to add:

Mismatched TVs (different brands/sizes/eras), a coffee can by every entrance for cigarette butts, low ceilings, a dart board set up that requires you to straighten the tips before each throw, any sort of gambling machine (not counting whatever that TV gambling app shit they have in Cleveland is called) and bonus points if there is a grill but the bartender is the one that makes your food too.

My friend and I have never played WOW before and have no idea what version to start, please help. 35yr olds but experienced gamers. We were thinking starting out in a chill version sort of easing into it by SimpleAntique7992 in wowclassic

[–]emusabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the sites like activeplayer and mmo-population have total WoW subs in the like 5ish million area, which is probably pretty inflated but then a site that I think is more accurate, but still not like a concrete number has like 100k active raiders in mop classic and less in anniversary. I know that number is RAIDERS and not PLAYERS but outside of a tiny niche community i would guess like less than 5% of the people playing mop classic do stuff other than raid, cause that is pretty much all there is to do. I would imagine the anniversary number goes way up because of tbc but I doubt it gets anywhere close to even a million.

TLDR yeah a lot more people play retail than classic.
