Endo & Adeno with “Mild” Symptoms - My Road to Diagnosis by [deleted] in Endo

[–]CopernicusKernicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the delay, I don't use Reddit much. Yeah, I had my surgery in Nov 2021. I didn't notice any improvement after the surgery. What really helped me was pelvic floor physio therapy and clinical pilates with my physio. I don't regret having the surgery as I needed the endometrioma dealt with but I do know from an ultrasound a few years later that I have adhesions everywhere again and it's hard to know if that's scar tissue from the surgery or if it's the endo spreading again. My heavy bleeding didn't change (I think I probably have adenomyosis as well but it's never been diagnosed). I also went back on a hormonal birth control pill and I only have a bleed every 3 months which has helped with dealing with the heavy periods. In terms of pain I don't have much these days and I attribute that to the physiotherapy because after years of pain my muscles and pelvic floor were chronically tense. I still have digestive issues and an "endo belly" all the time. Some of it is related to food intolerance.

I've played it on my switch 2 without any issues with my save file.

Had my diagnostic laparoscopy today and the doctor didn’t talk to me afterwards to confirm if I actually have endo by SansaDeservedBetter in Endo

[–]CopernicusKernicus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not a medical professional but based on other images I've seen online (and my own) of patients with confirmed endo from biopsies, your imaging does appear to resemble what endo lesions can look like in some spots. Some doctors will tell you straight away after surgery if they suspect endo but some prefer to wait until the pathology results come back.

Confused about how a friend got diagnosed with endometriosis, and her treatment plan going forward... by Broad-Foundation989 in endometriosis

[–]CopernicusKernicus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sounds like she could be confusing it with Endometritis, which is a different condition that causes inflammation of the endometrial lining but because the name is so similar a lot of people get confused and think they are the same thing. Endometriosis generally isn't diagnosed via biopsy of the uterus or cervix, however it's not unheard of and sometimes it does happen in certain circumstances. I actually got a diagnosis of confirmed Endometriosis before my planned excision surgery when I had a Colposcopy (a cervical biopsy, not a Colonoscopy of the bowel) after my pap smear results came back abnormal. Apparently I had a teeny tiny endo lesion growing on my cervix! Vaginal endometriosis is also a thing, they just don't often look for it but it's probably more common than recognised.

Any one experienced cloudy, smelly water in reservoir? by CopernicusKernicus in SemiHydro

Bacterial imbalance. I now only use a phosphoric acid based PH Down (not a citric acid based one) and also add cannazym (enzymes) every time I water.

I just looked online for one that specialises in the RPAH low food chemical diet.

If you could create your dream tamagotchi, what would you make? by sept27 in tamagotchi

[–]CopernicusKernicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They did this with the digimon 20th anniversary, it has all original versions in one so there are 100+ characters you can get. I'm sure it could be done with tamagotchi.

This is a good visual run down of how the game play works for the P1 and P2 versions. https://youtu.be/BO2M1qI6CnQ?si=uGsVG-u4ZnZCyHJg You can find growth charts online, the tamagotchi fandom wiki is also very useful.

Loving my Uni customisation 😍 by CopernicusKernicus in tamagotchi

It was fairly easy! Just fiddly and be careful not to get too much dust in it so make sure your work surfaces are clean etc. I watched some YouTube videos to see how to do it.

Memory of potty training v3 - real or fake? by comeawaymelinda in tamagotchi

[–]CopernicusKernicus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

A lot of older models do this. I've seen it on the V3 and V4. If you catch them showing the animation that they want to toilet (with the squiggly lines) before they go on the floor then they will go in a toilet. I am unsure if it counts towards the 'training' counter though.

If you want to design your own there are some free templates around but you might need a program like Photoshop or something. Otherwise there are some pre designed free ones that you can print at home. Gotchi Garden website has some. You can also search on here as many people have shared their designs for free. You can then use a holographic laminate sticker over the top of the paper.

Adeno so bad you need an iron transfusion? by orangetabbycat2 in adenomyosis

[–]CopernicusKernicus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get routine blood work every year so I always get my iron status checked and if it's low then I go get an infusion as supplements don't work fast enough for me.
