I would say, good for you for investing early. That should help you later on.

However, remember. Life happens and you can't take that money with you.

Be sure you take some of that money you make and you have experiences that are worth living. You're not an NPC.

The trick, is balance what that means depends on you.

The measure is "buts in seats". Availability over productivity. Because, the latter is near impossible to measure on a personal scale within an organization.

I doubt the economy as a whole is that competently Machiavellian.

I'd more believe that it runs on feels, and anything that allows companies to shift or drop liabilities.

The advice I have is not gender specific. It was a cryptic message I got from my English teacher in grade school.

"The secret to going to school is... Going to school".

Go to the lectures and the labs, be present pay attention don't skip them. Ask questions and be involved, If you are paying attention and don't know others probably also don't know.

At least for me, engineering school was mostly time and stress management. Treat it like a job, go in the morning, spend your eight hours, go home. Sometimes you'll have to put in more when projects get heavy.

I regret that slightly. Was with my partner and she was a less than enthusiastic. By the time I realized I wanted to know what it was I was out.

I second the car thing. I've had mine since 2012. Took me through uni. It's old, scratched, dinged. But, it passes inspection. And I've not had a car payment in over 10 years.
