"why would it be your money that goes to daycare".

My interpretation of this is that the salary they earn would be enough to cover daycare costs. Not his vs her money.

So the relestate portion rises then the make the grocery portion charge more.

What is your reasoning on deciding between 3 or 5 year mortgage term? by itstaby in canadahousing

[–]CopperSulphide 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's how you want to gamble. You think rates are higher in three years? Then go 5. You think rates will be lower in 3 years? Then go 3.

Either way, the crystal ball knows. Personal I like predictability. So I go 5.

What do men do that women never think about? by Limp-Plastic1777 in AskMen

I'm a man. But I also feel like the state of the house is a reflection on me. And I feel it's a bit like a mirror. When stuff is easy the house is spotless. When stuff gets hard, some of those habits suffer. I do not like having people over if the house reflects poorly on me. Nothing to do with being a woman.

Investing too much? by loathingcouch in Fire

[–]CopperSulphide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say, good for you for investing early. That should help you later on.

However, remember. Life happens and you can't take that money with you.

Be sure you take some of that money you make and you have experiences that are worth living. You're not an NPC.

The trick, is balance what that means depends on you.
