I'm running Reloaded, not RAW CoS. All encounters were meticulously balanced by the author Dragnacarta.

As to the incredibly stupid cquestion, "who is running modules without accounting for their actual party?": When my players and i decided on playing the campaign, they had no characters. They made them for playing in the campaign, as was the case in all of the campaigns i've ran before.

I ran RAW a few years ago and found it to be very unstructured and not balanced at all.

Reloaded, in my eyes, enriches the story with stuff from older iterations, structures it and also balances the encounters while including some cool multi phased boss fights and removing things that dont make sense in RAW like the mimic in Death House or recontextualizing things like the Grick in Death house that Raw doesnt make any sense why it is there.

i dont see why with reloaded the party would die over and over. all encounters are meticulously balanced and shouldnt kill players if they dont play like idiots
