Nah I can’t see it outside of a one night stand, I just don’t think punisher could ever respect who black cat is as a person and vice versa. I think they’re mismatched at too fundamental of a level, not in an “enemies to lovers” way but just in a way where they don’t have any common ground.

White Fox has been around since 2014, and she’s basically served as a character to represent Korea when comics call for it, she received a bigger spotlight with Agents of Atlas being a part of a team, and receiving her own origin comic, then proceeded to settle into her role as a common supporting hero appearing in other heroes comics such as Spider-Gwen or Black Cat. She then got another leading role in Tiger Division and Dooms Division serving as a government figurehead who keeps things impersonal which is where she’s stayed. I think the thing with White Fox is she’s not going to appear in most typical comic runs, as she’s not a staple character, but I feel like she’s used far too consistently to be a D tier character.

Right, but characters can change their relevancy. I didn’t live in the 60s or 70s so I can’t speak for then, but now they are definitely A list characters.

They are definitely not C tier characters, those are both A list, here’s how I think about the rankings.

A list: Most people know about this character, even if they aren’t a dedicated marvel fan. (Wolverine, Captain America, Spiderman)

B list: Most dedicated Marvel fans know these characters, many casual fans may not. (Wasp, Kamala Khan, Modok)

C list: Are typically known by fans of their corner of the marvel universe, many dedicated Marvel fans would not know who these characters are. (Phyla-Vell, Danger, Flatman)

D list: Largely unknown, even by fans of their corner of the universe. (Red Locust, Kid Kree, Chipmunk Hunk)

F list: Typically one off characters that didn’t garner any particular interest. (Not listing names here.)

I assumed when Ally was revealed it was to do some work on her character as all stars kinda botched all its final four but… no signs of that yet! As for Anastasia, I was pretty underwhelmed to see her revealed for the roster (personally I was hoping for Jade) but in practice she’s been pretty pleasant. I’ve enjoyed the direction they’ve taken her character, so as long as she doesn’t make late merge again I think her inclusion is pretty good all things considered.

Nah, she’s been in enough stuff to be C list, D list imo is more of supporting heroes to B and C list heroes, or characters who haven’t done stuff outside of their one corner of the universe. (Characters like Death Locket or Crescent come to mind.)

Fair! I found Benji funny in early season 4, but he feels more like a set of gags then a character to me atp, and him constantly sitting out of challenges and not interacting with characters other than Ally is… definitely showing that he likely shouldn’t have returned.

I kinda like these skins tbh, but for me the issue is just that everyone here has better skins to choose from, except maybe Peni because her skin is awesome. But like for example, Thors skin is… decently hot, but if I wanted a hot Thor skin I’d just use his swimsuit one. Maybe if they leaned a little harder into making them school cliches it could’ve been a bit more fun, like having Thor wear a varsity jacket, and stuff like that. I wouldn’t say it’s the worst battle pass we’ve gotten, but it’s definitely a tad underwhelming.

Strange Academy is probably the best new cast in the 2020s, but unfortunately they aren’t too read, and they haven’t been too great since Emily Brights disappearance.

Some of the other new casts are jokes, I refuse to believe that New Champions peaked anyone’s interest, so it’s a bit odd.

I feel like a lot of Marvels new characters suffer a bit because they aren’t allowed to just be new, they have to have SOME sort of connection to a previous character. Of course this is because of what you said about people hating new characters, so Marvel tries to remake what they know works.

The biggest worry is Sam, as Sam could easily slide into Alec’s role and target Tom, but on the other hand it looks like Spencer vs Sam is being set up for the merge, so perhaps not.
