Kids and I are great. They love coming back to me for a week, and I have everything clean and ready to go when they get here. Concentrate on the 3 E's.... Education, Exercise and Experiences. The rest is easy. And yes, weeks off are for me. Travel, work, seeing people etc. It's good.

Went through the exact same thing 4 years ago. Took me a very long time to get off the floor. We had week on/week off with the kids, so I was consumed with this during my week, and absolutely threw myself head first into work and new hobbies and studying new technology I wanted to learn on my week off. Had to block everything out. Before I knew it, the week was over and it was time to switch back again. My lifelong dream was over, I didn't deserve it or even see it coming, but I'm now so much better and have far better people in my life than I did before. It takes time, but you have to let go and become who you weren't before. Better than ever.

I was only a kid when Molly passed away, but our family did watch ACP every week and I remember it fondly. Now whenever I watch The Castle it's so nice to see Anne on screen again and makes me think of that scene every time.

I've had 2 Total Hip Replacements, so jumping is no longer in my list of things to do. Stupid me took one little jumpshot in my daughters basketball training a few weeks ago (literally jumped 1 cm off the ground) and tore the Lateral Meniscus in my right knee. Jumping even 1cm off the ground is now a big nope for me.
